Just be sure you know how to get there from the train station or airport because the Riad is inside the walls of the confusing Medina (as most are, and the taxi can't go all the way there. You can find it yourself with google maps if you are willing to carry your own bags, or you can contact the Riad in advance to arrange for them to come out and meet you. It is about 100 yards or so from where the taxi can drop you off.

We liked everything-- the Riad itself was beautiful and comfortable; the location just inside the Medina walls was great; the buffet breakfast was ideal for our needs; and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. A particular highlight was dinner at sunset on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Medina. Truly spectacular. That might have been the best part of our 10 day trip to Morocco.

The neighborhood is far from the toursity side of the medina (where all the tourist traps and scammers are there). Bad if you're trying to be in the center of the tourist hub, I suppose.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The people were amazing. The building is beautiful. The breakfast was great and super filling. This was the most beautiful Riad we stayed at during our two week visit of Morocco. The architecture and upkeep of the building are amazing, you really love to see it. Everyone that works here is incredibly nice and super helpful. You really can't go wrong booking here if you're gonna be in Fes.

This is the most beautiful Riad we have seen in Morocco. There is so much beauty and attention put in everything at this property. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and the bathroom had a fantastic shower. Very good breakfast buffet. The owner and the two young staff members are extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel like family!!

The beds could be softer, slight smell in the bathroom due to a the building being older. Nothing important compared to all the good things.

Exceptional. The place was stunning and well kept. Everything was clean and tidy. The service members were very sweet and accommodating, always with a smile trying to do everything to make us comfortable. The food was amazing. We tried the breakfast and dinner twice and they were better tasting than popular restaurants like the Ruined Garden. The rooftop is spacious and has amazing views since it is located on top of the hill. The riad is within the medina walls (no cars in the medina), but the street is like 2 blocks away so it was very convenient for the taxi.

The riad itself is so beautiful and breathtaking. The terrace is also so amazing with panoramic view of the city. The rooms are spacious and bathroom doors are very well decorated with moroccan theme. The owner Lotfi is a very nice man, is so thorough and cares so much about his guests. Also the staff Ismael is also very caring, and hard working. Another amazing thing is food! Their food is so tasty and serve you like a fine dining. If I ever come back to Fes, i will definitely come back to stay here!!

I would not put a 10/10 if it weren’t because the place exceeded my expectations. the place is very good (location, decor, food , etc). at this point this is no secret. however, we didn’t expect the below: Mrs Lofti (the owner) offered herself to bring us to the city center with her own private car at no extra cost. Our flight was scheduled for 22:00. I had to leave the room at 12:00, as usual. but Mr Lofti (the owner) allowed my to keep the room, so I could rest a bit, for free the whole day, at no extra cost. The staff opened the kitchen at 16:30 so I could have something to eat, even if it was outside the normal hours.

The location in the medina was great. The riad was clean and very nice. The owner and the whole staff were super friendly and helpful, what made us feel at home all the time. Also breakfast was very tasty and there was a variety of Moroccan and international products. Very recommended!

The Riad was absolutely amazing!! It was the most beautiful property during our whole stay in Morocco, the internal architecture was stunning, it was super clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast had a wide range of options. Last but not least, the terrace was also charming with a nice Fes medina view.

Consider booking a tour guide of the medina before getting to Fes. We didn't like the guide that the riad recommended.

Riad Fes Nass Zmane was absolutely beautiful - more so than any of the ones we stayed at during our 2-week trip to Morocco. The terrace is incredible, with an unobstructed view of the medina. Breakfast was buffet style, with lots of good options. The staff was personable and kind. Rooms were nice and clean.

We had a fabulous time at Riad Fes Nass Zmane. Mr. Lutfi was a fabulous host with warm Moroccan hospitality and helped us organize a few tours. The garden and decorations is insta worthy. Great view from the terrace. Very family friendly. The Tajine and the breakfast tasted really good. Definitely recommend and would return again.
