Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis Riad is very Beautiful and it is in a great location inside the Medina. They have an excellent breakfast buffet with very friendly and accommodating staff. The host/owner is always available and can answer all of your questions.

United StatesWalking into Rias fess Nass is like walking into a dream. From a bustling city into an oasis within a step through the door. We Stayed in the Riad for 2 nights and enjoyed the serenity, roof top views, food and hospitality. Even if you don’t stay here you must stop by to see how beautiful the Riad is and eat a Tagine overlooking the Medina. If you need a place to stay in Fes I would highly highly recommend

AustraliaRacking my brain to think of something I didn’t like - the bathroom didn’t have ventilation so it got very steamy and wet after a shower but that’s really the only thing about this place that wasn’t absolutely wonderful and it didn’t affect excellent stay.
Absolutely loved this place - incredible building, very friendly and gracious host and staff and the amazing breakfast was a bonus. Will definitely stay here if I am ever back in Fez!

RomaniaThis is the best place we've stayed in through our round trip in Morroco, and we've stayed in a few quite nice riads. But Nass Zmane is like a piece of art, it's the Hilton of the riads. The location is very good, in a quiet place, close to the main spots in Fes el Bali, it has parking nearby, it is easy to find. The food is excellent, so is the service. It has a nice terrace with great views. If it fits your budget, it is a no brainer. I had a great experience with Nass Zmane. First I've booked it in 2020, just before the covid lockdown, as a non-refundable booking. But they proved ethics is important for them and they fully refunded. I've appreciate that, so for me it was the logical choice for Fes.

United KingdomThis review is not about the property rather about its management. The location is horrible. Inside the maze of alleyways of the old city that the GPS is inactive but with many local young men are active to harasse you for a tip. After an hour of search we could not find the property but the harassment was so much that our spouses refused to continue and demanded that we leave the neighbourhood. After finding the car with much difficulty we left and informed the hotel. They insisted that we should have sent them our location so they could help us find our way. Our explanation that without the GPS this would not have been possible fell on deaf ears. Even Booking.com asked the hotel to forego charging us but the hotel was not open to the idea and charged us the full fee.

United StatesWe stayed in the Jasmin room top floor, there is an issue with unpleasant smell which comes and goes entering the room from the drains in the bathroom sink and shower stall. This is obviously a plumbing issue, but by closing the bathroom door issue is easily corrected.
Staff was very helpful and breakfast was served and ready every morning. Location is tricky and you could easily get confused and lost in the evenings getting back to the Riad.

NetherlandsAs a vegetarian / vegan traveller - the options I had was limited. I would strongly advise to increase the options.
Beautiful riad with elegance and culture brimming through every corner. The staff is extremely courteous and present at all times to assist you. The owner is present very regularly at the premises and helps you with making arrangements to sight see, visit the hamam and more. The language (English) can be a barrier but the staff makes it a point to do everything in their power / abilities to help you out.
