Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MaltaOnly issue was when I arrived you go down this tiny little street to get there and the hostel wasn’t clearly marked.
The Riad rooms were really nice, with a big bed plus a bathroom, with views of the central lobby. The breakfast was much better than I’d expected, plenty of food and drink to start the day. But the best thing by far is the staff! They are so kind, friendly and accommodating. They did my laundry for me (for free!), cleaned the rooms daily and added new towels, helped teach me some Arabic words and always had big smiles on their faces. Really wonderful experience and I fully recommend staying here.

SpainMaybe a clearer sign outside to mark the name of the riad
It was amazing. So, first the place. It's right in the medina, very easy to get in and out. The riad is beautiful and it's noticeable the work they put to it. The bedroom was just as on the pictures and the service was available around the clock. Literally! They came pick us up at 2am and they even woke up early on out last day to prepare us breakfast before 7. They gave us tips and directions on how to get places, as well as a map to get around. Now the place, very clean, very comfy and as depicted on the page. The breakfast was filling: coffee, milk, tea, eggs, jam, butter, bread... The whole lot! Couldn't be happier to be honest!

ItalyThere weren't anything we didn't appreciate.
We really appreciated the kindness of our host. Their priority is hospitality. The Riad is quiet and respectful. The staff was always friendly and super helpful to our requests. In addition the rooms were very clean. We also tried the dinner and breakfast, incredible: they exceeded our expectations. We definitely will stay here again!

United KingdomOur room smelt of sewage and the door was hanging off and dangerous. Some of the pillow cases were torn. The outside roof area had old chairs and the roof leaked. My two friends room underneath the rooftop terrace had a flood in the bathroom when it rained. So the roof of the room must be leaking! Such a shame just tired looking needs updating. The beds were comfortable most of the rooms small for two friends sharing but I know this is the case with a riad. Noise did travel and echo so one lady was not happy with 6 of us getting up at 8am each morning but this cannot be helped. Air con was good otherwise rooms would have been too hot. Poor lighting in rooms.
The staff were amazing and the location is perfect to get to pick up and drop off point. Only a short 20 mins walk to main square and a bit less to madina and market. Quiet at night in our room. Very accommodating about times to eat dinner and breakfast.

CanadaI wish the beds were a little comfier. The blankets were hotel standard. The washroom was a little too small and outdated (not sure if that's typical of Marrakech riads). The shower area had no curtain so the whole washroom may get wet after a shower. All minor annoyances.
Excellent location and very good breakfast. We stayed for 5 nights and they served some different items every breakfast. We stayed in the Farasha room which was next to the courtyard, got a little loud in the morning during breakfast time. On the other hand, we had the courtyard all to ourselves the rest of the day which the kids loved. We had bitemarks every morning and got worried, the hotel staff took it very seriously and informed us that our leftover sweet desserts attracted some bugs. I appreciated how they took it very sincerely and deep cleaned our room. Great stay!
