Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaAziz was an exceptional manager who made our stay very informative and was always on hand to answer any of our questions. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned everyday. The breakfasts were delicious! The location was great, close to restaurants and shopping.

United KingdomGood communication prior to our visit, and taxi booked by Aziz from the coach station, and to the airport. He spoke excellent English. Good location, and great to come back to the peace and calm of the riad after a hectic day in Marrakesh. Breakfasts were wonderful and set us up for the day. Aziz was very kind in getting me gluten free bread and rice cakes, in addition to amazing home made jams and houmous. The upstairs terrace was a nice place to relax. Would highly recommend.

United KingdomWe had a great stay at Riad Nirvana. Our room was on 1st floor and it was spacious and comfortable. Riad is conveniently located in a quiet area, close to some of the main places to visit in Marrakech. We were welcomed by Aziz who is a great host. He provided us with all the info we needed to go around and, on the last day, he prepared the breakfast for us 1hour earlier as we had to leave. At times, there was a weird smell in the room perhaps due to riad buildings not having windows. Riad is not super easy to find.

It was an easy walk to the center and quiet enough at night. The breakfast was outstanding. Riad Nirvana is very beautiful inside and the room was perfect. United StatesThere was nothing we did not like.
We loved everything! We were met by Aziz who walked us to the riad and helped to answer our questions, arrange taxis and make us comfortable during our stay. The location is awesome as it’s close to many things in Marrakech but also in a more quiet setting. The breakfast was delicious, the interior of the riad is beautiful and the room is perfect. We will for sure be staying here again our next time in Marrakech.

GermanyThe groundfloor rooms are exposed to the normal Riad activity (reception, guests coming and going, breakfast). Had we known this, we would have chosen a room on the first floor. Also, our room would have needed a bit of maintenance as in some places the paint and render was coming off the wall.
The Riad manager Aziz is very friendly and helpful. He organized the taxi from the airport, picked us up from where the taxi dropped us off. He then helped us with re-charging our Orange SIM cards (which would have been very expensive at the airport). He also organized a taxi to take us to the railway station after checking out. Aziz also provided lot of information regarding all aspects of our stay in Marrakesh. Our room on the ground floor was well equipped and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good as well. The neighborhood is central and relatively quiet (except for the prayer calls from the nearby mosque). Riad Nirvana is an excellent choice for a first time visitor to Marrakesh that also want to try staying in a Riad instead of a normal hotel.

United KingdomWe would have liked to sample the owner’s fabled cooking.
The owners were away but Aziz looked after us so well, giving us detailed info on what to see, printing our boarding passes, making beautiful breakfasts and ordering taxis. The Riad is in a quiet part of the Medina and beautifully appointed.

United KingdomThere were a few areas where a little attention to detail (of the facilities) would be of benefit. E.g. our shower head was heavily scaled (which I removed with my fingertips), a towel holder was loose, two of our pillows did not have pillowcases on, and several loungers on the roof had broken elements. But these were minor points and did not detract from an excellent stay overall
We had a really lovely stay. The location is excellent, in a quiet area of the medina, but close to many of the city's highlights and some good restaurants. Our room was lovely, breakfast was great and the manager was very helpful and full of good advice. The roof terrace is spacious with several different seating areas. We would definitely return if we were in Marrakech again.

RussiaI can join the comments above, this is great place! I really enjoyed my time in this riad :) The owners JP and Anna were super kind, welcomed me warmly and helped with everything, I am glad to have met them :) The riad itself is beautiful, clean, during the day its courtyard is filled with birds singing. Located in the Medina, a little away from the noisy streets, but at the same time within walking distance from them. It is easy to find and it is close to the road on which transport goes. Breakfast is wonderful with fresh bread, lots of homemade jams and cheeses. Delicious strong coffee and fresh juice. I can definitely recommend this place in Marrakech!

Don’t hesitate to book this place! Cleanliness, well appointed, great hospitality, and delicious meals made this the best Riyadh we stayed at during our multi city trip. The property was renovated when the owners bought it and is tastefully decorated and clean. Unlike other places in Morocco we stayed at, there was daily housekeeping and the place was spotless. JP and Anna were warm and welcoming hosts which were the highlight of the stay. The breakfast was a blend of Moroccan and European dishes—the omelettes and crepes were scrumptious. If you get a chance, please eat dinner there by requesting it a day in advance. The dinners at the Riyadh were better than the meals we had in the area. The Riyadh was so peaceful to come back and relax after a busy day of exploring the souks and sights.

CanadaThe washroom had some minor issues, ventilation wasn't there, so it eventually got a bit smelly, and the shower head was not properly fixed to the wall, the bar it was attached to was in need of repair.
Cannot say enough good things about the hosts, JP and Anna. The kindest people, JP got up at 7am to come get us, and Anna got us Harissa on the house when I wasn't feeling well. <333 The Riad itself has a very natural vibe, with plants, and small song birds.
