Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing. It was all lovely. Just a note that this riad does not sell alcohol ( not unusual in a Muslim country).
The location in the Kasbah area was great- really central and within minutes walk of lots of sites- the square, the tombs etc. The breakfast each morning was really delightful- freshly prepared with Moroccan specialities and the food was good- we had dinner on our arrival night and it was worth it- very reasonable, freshly prepared and delicious. They catered well for a vegetarian and a meat eater. The rooms were spotless and the staff were so kind and helpful- they couldn’t do enough for us and provided genuine hospitality. It was a great stay and highly recommended.

GermanyThis Riad offered so much more than we expected. First off, the location is amazing. Right in the heart of Kasbah where you find great Restaurants and Shops as well as the Moulay El Yazid Mosque nearby. The Jemaa Elfna is just a few minutes by walk away. The Riad itself is perfectioned into Detail, you can feel that the owner of the Riad (finally a local from Morocco, which is a big plus) put his expertise into it. The Rooms was excellent and lacking nothing, complete amenities and equipment. We especially loved the extremely comfortable bed, we didn’t want to get out! Special thank you to Aziz and Abdou, who are managing the Riad with excellence and professionality. They really made sure we felt at home and read every wish from our minds. The staff in this Riad really offers a 5-star-service! We will definitely be coming back.

PolandWe asked if we could have breakfast at 7:20 am, and we were informed that it wasn’t a possibility, as the chef came in at 7:40 and breakfast began at 8:00 am. When we were checking out at 7:35 am, the host that looked after us was in the kitchen and it would’ve given a great image to serve some coffee and a couple of biscuits. We understand and accept that breakfast couldn’t be served before schedule, but five opinions from this year state that they served breakfast earlier, even at 3:00 am. We don’t know if the rules have changed, or why we have been treated that way. So it didn’t leave the best impression at the end of our stay.
Exceptional boutique hotel - we confirm the other guests’ opinions. We give it a 10. However:

Immediately on arrival Abdul met us and gave us tea and Morrocan biscuits and went through the city map with us giving recommendations and suggestions. As well as making sure we had interesting and well priced tours for our visit. Thought the stay both Abdual and Haziz were more than helpful every day and even helped us watch the England World Cup games! Breakfast and dinner was amazing and they also made our last day with leaving for the airport seamless.

United KingdomOnly that we had to leave it!
This Riad is an absolute gem. It is beautifully decorated throughout, our room was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff treated us with such courtesy and kindness it is hard to describe. The manager was warm and friendly and seemed genuinely to want to ensure that our stay was the best it could be. I do not think I have ever been looked after so well in 60+ years of travel. Breakfast every day was a treat – each day it was different, always traditional Moroccan foods, and so beautifully prepared and presented. We had dinner one evening in the Riad and it was the best meal we had in our whole stay. the meal was prepared just for the two of us, the table was laid with rose petals and we were looked after like royalty. Were this a hotel it would definitely be five star. This Riad provides a place of peace like an oasis in the middle of the hustle of Marrakesh and by the time we came to leave we felt it was like our own home. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

United KingdomThere is honestly nothing that we did not like.
We loved everything, from the incredibly warm welcome and helpful friendly staff, to the amazingly tasty and generous sized breakfast, the fabulous three course meal on our arrival night, the huge comfy bed, the decor, the rooftop to chill and the location. It was a true oasis when we needed time to rest, recuperate and then throw ourselves in again to the hustle, bustle, colour, noises and smells of Marrakech. We loved the city and particularly loved this Riad. We have stayed in numerous small hotels around the world, many of which we have loved but this is one of the very few we will definitely return to (we usually like to always try something new).
