Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgThe room was lack of equipments. It was dark and the bed was not so comfortable. The most thing was that you can smell the food from the whole riad which was not okay. The breakfast was so bad. I didn't have any options to choose from buffet they provided because it was so poor. Part of the riad was under maintenance which was a little bit dusty.
The yard was beautiful and the rooftop was nice.

United KingdomDespite paying for a deluxe room we were given a tiny room barely bigger than the double bed. No information was shared about the hotel facilities or the local area.
The building is stunning. Traditional riad with beautiful ornate decoration. The roof terrace perfect to enjoy the afternoon sun and a cosy fire in the bar for the evening when it's cold outside. Despite the central location it was very quiet and could even barely hear the call to prayer. The staff, in particular the bar staff, were all very friendly and welcoming.

United KingdomNothing really - if I had to be picky, most staff were friendly but I felt reception could have been a bit more attentive for a 5 star hotel.
Absolutely stunning hotel, everything is so beautiful, brilliant location you’re walking distance from all the key sites!

NorwayIt was very cold at night. All electric things like the AC and the TV is outdated but we had no need for it, so it didn’t bother us.
A beautiful old palais very close to the square and the souks. We had a big beautiful room on second floor.

United StatesThe rooms had a lot of smells and diffusers that are an issue for anyone who has allergies
The Riad is beautiful, so many handcrafted details. The property was in a good location about a 10 minute brisk walk to the main market and tourist areas. Staff were very friendly and accommodating the entire day.

ItalyThe bathroom has slightly damp ceilings and the tub is quite stained. At the breakfast buffet I would have liked the presence of leaflets indicating the foods and drinks.
Convenient riad to reach. Both the interior and exterior are very beautiful. Spacious room and comfortable beds but dimly lit. Cleanliness is excellent everywhere!

United KingdomThe shower, it took a while to find the right temperature and setting. But other than that no complaints.
Location is key when booking any place, this Riad was close to all the attractions, within walking distance to the souks, square and mosque. The riad was beautiful, the courtyard was nice. The rooms are authentic and the breakfast was traditional. Fresh orange juice at breakfast. The staff and service was lovely, very polite and helpful. If I come to Marrakech again I will be staying here.

PortugalA shame one of ou matresses has broken springs and one would slide down. Breakfast could have some more continental options, e.g., croissants (compared with other Riads practically everything was local food)
Beautiful Riad, beautiful rooms, extremely clean, very complete commodities (pool, terrace, bar etc), and excellent location (safe; near the epicenter of the medina but easy access to taxis/outside)

ItalyWe also chose the Palais Sebban for a dinner, but we didn't enjoy it as much as our stay. The staff was again lovely, but the dishes were not as rich in flavour and spices as other meals we had during our stay. The location made up for it anyway.
The Riad was beautiful in all its parts: patio, terraces, hall and reception, and the room. Staff was helpful and kind, breakfast was rich and with slight variations the second morning, which is nice if you stay more than one day. The riad Is also quite easy to find compared to other ones, and in a good position. Recommend it.

From the moment we arrived, we were in awe, and it never lessened. Step back in time and let paradise unfold in this amazing, ornate, masterfully crafted, well-kept, genuinely authentic, old-world riad. Every detail astounds the senses - The background music, the scents, the food, the staff, and the amazing surroundings. We experienced warm, smiling faces from ALL staff in every interaction from the mundane request to totally going out of their way to make our stay exceptional. Perfect, centrally located spot in the Medina. Easy taxi access and walking distance to all souks, spas, many sights, and the central square. From reception, to housekeeping (so friendly and accommodating) to wait staff, to the bell captain - no request or their “anticipation” of possible needs, went unmet. Huge shout out to Mr. Bean, and the great day and evening restaurant/bar staff, especially Manaim, Azzediane, and Midaidi - took such special care of us! Even making a traditional Moroccan treatment for my husbands sinus issues! SO incredibly thoughtful! Highly recommend choosing this riad for your stay in Marrakech.
