Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

It's a dream come true staying in the middle of the medina in this perfectly located and tastefully restored Riad. A big thank you to SOULIMAN for your welcome.but also to the whole team who took care of us . We were touched by their kindness. It looked like a big family. The original hammam with traditional treatments By Jihan was highlight. Spacious and beautifully decorated room. Sumptuous bathroom. We will not forget the endless breakfast on the terrace with a magnificent view of the medina. We also had all our dinners on the terrace listening to the sound of the muezzin. with the Moroocon wine It is magic! Please note that all dishes are prepared at the Riad with fresh produce purchased at the market the same morning by Mama Fatima. All our wishes were taken into account. To visit the medina, do not hesitate to ask for this service at the Riad. We will come back!

United StatesOur stay at the riad rcif was nothing short of extraordinary. The architecture is absolutely stunning. Every corner of the riad exudes charm and elegance. The staff deserve a special mention for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience possible. One of the highlights of our trip was also a great example of the service. We went on a guided trip and stopped at a tannery. While we had done some research beforehand on pricing, negotiating there was quite challenging and we ended up being overcharged significantly, despite our guide assuring us we had gotten a good deal. When we returned to the riad and shared our experience, the owner and his team immediately offered their help. They went above and beyond to assist us in getting our money back and took us to a store they personally frequent for their own purchases. Not only did they help us negotiate a much better price, but the owner’s brother also arranged for someone to accompany us to ensure we received a fair, local price. Their dedication and willingness to help, even though they had no obligation to do so, was absolutely remarkable and made our stay unforgettable. While most people and place would have simply said “oh we’re so sorry to hear that it happened to you”, Abdel and his team chose to go above and beyond to assist us and safeguard our interests. If this weren’t pure kindness, then I don’t know what is. We highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Morocco.

United KingdomWe weren't sure what to expect at Riad Rcif since we'd felt very brave booking somewhere right in the Medina. We needn't have worried - it is a sublime oasis of authenticity, tranquility and beauty. However what makes it truly magical are the staff. Abdul took care of us throughout our stay attending to every tiny detail with a rare combination of kindness and utter professionalism! We never write reviews but his outstanding thoughtfulness and genuine tender care of all our needs was truly exceptional. Thah poured passion, love and generosity into us every day as he served us our breakfast, helped us understand the Moroccan way of life - we will never forget sitting in the kitchen watching the food being prepared. Both ooze hospitality that Moroccans are renown for. Go and meet these people, they will touch your heart!

United KingdomWithout help from a hotel member of staff, finding the riad through the streets of the medina would be challenging.
Everyone was so incredibly friendly and prepared to help in anyway they cam. The view from the terrace is possibly the best in Fes.

CanadaHaving to order three course dinners instead of a la carte dishes is a drawback; after telling the owner we don’t eat a lot and that we wanted to share a three course meal, he told us the portions were small and induced us to order two. The portions were huge and most of the food was left behind. The last two nights we insisted on only one meal to share and there was still food left on the table.
Room and riad were ornately beautiful and comfortable; the whole riad is spotless. We stayed in Cherine Royal Suite. Bathroom was huge as was the shower. Hot water and water pressure were excellent; mattress was firm but not hard and there is an elevator. Breakfasts (included) and dinners (optional for fee) were plentiful and very tasty. Staff Abdul and Lhessen in particular were lovely and extremely helpful and kind. The Hammam treatment and massage were great. Riad is about 5 minutes walk from nearest road with cars - there is some uphill walking. Nothing out of the ordinary for the medina in general. They will send a porter to help with bags, who should be tipped appropriately as the Riad does not charge for this service. The Riad will arrange tours - we took one and it was very informative and we really appreciated it - Abdul took us on the tour, he was raised in the Medina and knows everyone. The stay was seamless and the Riad makes it easy to enjoy Fes.

South AfricaMy father and I loved our stay at Riad Rcif. It is one of the most beautifully and ornately decorated places I have ever stayed. Conveniently located at the edge of the Fes Médina we felt extremely safe and situated close to all the action and excitement Fes has to offer. Food was delicious - I ordered the same dinner 3x not because there was nothing else to eat but because I simply loved the Morrocon wine and kufta taking so much. Staff was helpful, welcoming and friendly. Big thank you to Abdul, Taha and hasan for the good experience

United KingdomI am not sure exactly where to begin. I travel all over - solo - and one of the "things" that I look for is how I am treated from the time I step across the threshold until the time I leave. This Riad truly epitomizes VIP treatment. Abdul, Taha they made me feel so welcome and comfortable and were so accommodating. The furnishings and architecture of the Riad and my room were amazing. The food and Moroccan Wine in the rooftop restaurant was delicious. I could go on and on. If you are planning a trip to Fes - I would very strongly recommend booking your accommodations at the Riad Fes Rcif. You will not be disappointed!

I am extremely happy for my stay at Riad Rcif&spa. The riad is magnificent , with its beautiful architecture and decorations in the main alley , the corridors and the room. The room was lovely and made you feel like in another epoch. We had several dinners in this place , the food is local and simply delicious , and the choices of local wines was impressive. The pastries by Mama Fatima are unforgettable! But most importantly, we were delighted by the kindness and the helpfulness of the staff , they satisfied every single request and came with excellent service at any time of day and night. I have never experienced such a kind service in a hotel, I was super positively impressed by Abduuuul and the staff at the reception, the spa and the waiters. Btw don’t miss the spa! I tried the relaxing massage and the hammam, it is an unbelievable experience, totally different from I used to know. If I go back to Fes, I would definitely come back to this Riad

United StatesWe spent two nights in Riad Rcif, but would have loved to have stayed for longer. The best location for exploring The historical Medina of Fes . The decoration of the Riad is exquisite in every detail and the craftsmanship is incredible. It truly is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The rooms are extremely well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. I couldn't believe how many languages the staff could speak! One of the highlights was the most delicious breakfast and dinners prepared by the mom of the owner that is served on the roof top terrace. Here you can relax with a cafe, a selection of delicious baked goods, and freshly squeezed orange juice while taking in a fantastic panoramic view of the Old Fes. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch our flight and they even offered to pack a breakfast for us to take with us at 3.30am! It was a joy to stay here and I can't emphasize enough how beautiful this Riad is

ItalyThis is an authentic very antique palace which has been renovated. Simply getting in is mindblowing by the level of detail in the decoration and architecture: it is Morrocco at its best. The small staff is super super friendly and helpful. They helped me arrange day trips in a second. The location is within the old medina on one edge but within walking distance to all the main stuff. Easily accessible by car from airport, train or bus stations. I stayed in a suite and the room was HUGE with massively gorgeous morroccan details everywhere. They have everything for modern comfort. 100% recommended

Me and my friend stayed here for two days. When we first walked in we were in awe of the beauty of the courtyard and our room. It’s a truly stunning space with incredible tiling and molding work. We had dinner on the roof with a wonderful view of the Medina and a delicious meal prepared by Mama Fatima, the owner’s mother. Through our stay we received excellent service and accommodations from the staff Abdul, Taha, Hasan. I received a Hannam, a popular Moroccan spa treatment, that was very relaxing. Each morning we received a complimentary Moroccan breakfast and coffee on the roof. The location of the Riad was perfect for exploring the Medina. When we left they gave us small plates as souvenirs to take home. I would strongly recommend Riad Rcif to anyone looking to take a trip to Fes. 5 stars

During our road trip around Morocco, my husband and I decided to visit Fes as well. We chose this riad based on one friend's suggestion and we weren't disappointed at all. The building is simply magnificent, we immediately felt good there because we really loved the atmosphere, the soft lights and the orange blossom scent. This place was really magical, the architecture is simply stunning! The staff is nice as well, the rooms were clean and the bed was really comfortable, I loved the beautiful Zellij patterns in our bathroom, but what I loved the most, was sitting by pool while reading my book and enjoying the serenity of that beautiful place, too bad the weather was too cold for a quick swim. We were supposed to stay in Fes just two nights, and we ended up staying there for the whole week just because we really loved that place, and we really hope we can come back there very soon with our friends because it is really a hidden gem that everyone should visit at least once.

Riad Rcif was the nicest riad that we stayed during our stay in Morocco. The riad is a former palace with beautiful architecture all around. The room (and the bathroom) were very spacious and luxurious. The best part about the hotel was the extremely hospitable staff. from coming to pick us up at midnight to our taxi (as our flight was delayed) to always greeting us with a smile or asking us if we need anything or if they can help us with something. They gave us good tips about the town, and shared a bit of history as well. We would totally recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Fes.

A gorgeous Riad that is so ornately decorated on the inside -not just the main atrium but also the rooms itself. The rooftop is also so lovely with a great view of Fes - perfect for dinner and for breakfast. The staff (especially the bellboy and the servers on the roof) were extremely nice and friendly - they made us feel at home. They also have a hammam where you can book treatments.
