Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis road was so beautiful and clean. It’s better than pictures shown on the website. The best thing about is hospitality of the Riad’s manager. When I didn’t feel like going out in a rainy day, he offered me traditional soup with dates and bread. He explained attractions of Meknés in detail. The Riad also located very close to the parking lot. The only thing that the riad can improve is adding more protein to the breakfast. Like most of Moroccan riads, it only provides 1 egg per person and cream cheese with too much carbs. I think it provides more protein-rich breakfast and increase its price slightly, this Riad will be perfect.

United KingdomThe bathroom was a little dated - a shame because the room itself and the service in general was very good.
Our arrival in Meknes by car was complicated and we needed help! Luckily, the male receptionist at the Riad Royal was extremely helpful, coming out to guide us to the car park outside the medina. The riad itself is tucked away in the medina but easy to find. Our room was very large and seemed to have been created from a gallery on the mezzanine level. This made it a little noisy when people were coming and going but during the night, it was extremely peaceful and the bed was exceptionally comfortable so we slept well. The receptionist, who was also on duty the next morning, was charming and keen to assist throughout our stay, which always makes a big difference.

RomaniaThe riad is very beautiful. It's like a fairytale. The rooms are decorated very nicely. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is very good and special. The host is very communicative and very helpful. They showed us where the parking is and helped us with carrying the luggage. They also gave us valuable tips on what to visit. I warmly recommend this riad.

EstoniaWe stayed in February, and it was quite cold upon arrival. We had a two-story room, which was lovely. The second floor had an air conditioner that provided heating, and there was a heater on the first floor. However, the bathroom was quite cold, which was a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, the internet speed was quite slow during our stay. Overall, the riad is beautiful, but these small details could be improved for an even more comfortable experience. переведи на русский
A luxurious riad perfectly located in the heart of the medina! The staff is wonderful — always ready to help, give recommendations on where to go and what to see, making your stay even more enjoyable. Delicious and charming Moroccan breakfasts add a special touch to the mornings. The rooms and the entire riad are beautifully decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, with attention to every detail, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of elegance and comfort. Highly recommend for an authentic and luxurious experience in the medina!

United KingdomWhen we arrived at the train station, it took us ages to find a taxi driver who understood the address. Tell the driver it’s opposite the Meknes Museum.
Absolutely exceptional building. Down a dingy, dark alley, and then - wow! With a great rooftop terrace too. The lad who seems to work there all day and night, Mohamed, is really sweet and around at all times, willing to help. Breakfast is great and lots of choice. Very good location, next to the main square.

We absolutely loved Muhammed! He was just as lovely of a person as the Riad was gorgeous! The most beautiful of our Riads in Morocco! It is close to everything and easy to find if you have a good map program that works inside the Medina. Breakfast was delicious and the room was beautiful and comfortable.

United StatesThe bathroom was a little small.
The property is beautiful old home/riad. The main room is stunning. The complimentary breakfast served there every morning by Zachariah and Mohammad is first class. The riad is well located in the Medina in Meknes. But the best part about this property is the staff. They are kind and friendly and will do anything to assist with your visit. The riad will do laundry, call you a taxi, find you a guide or money exchange, get you an extra pillow, or just about anything else you need.
