Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MoroccoStaying in a riad in Fes Medina is like stepping into a hidden paradise where time stands still. The moment you cross the threshold from the lively, labyrinthine streets into the serene courtyard, you’re enveloped in an oasis of calm. The intricate zellige tilework, soaring cedarwood ceilings, and the gentle murmur of a central fountain embody Morocco’s rich craftsmanship and heritage. Many riads here are lovingly restored historical homes, blending authenticity with modern comforts—think plush linens, rooftop terraces with panoramic Medina views, and personalized hospitality that makes you feel like family What truly sets Fes’ riads apart is their ability to immerse you in the city’s soul. Mornings begin with the aroma of freshly baked msemen and mint tea, while evenings invite quiet reflection under starry skies, undisturbed by the buzz outside. The staff often go above and beyond, sharing insider tips on exploring the Medina’s hidden gems, from the vibrant Chouara Tannery to tucked-away artisan workshops. For travelers seeking a cultural deep-dive paired with tranquility, a riad in Fes isn’t just accommodation—it’s an unforgettable chapter of your Moroccan journey. Highly recommend for anyone craving authenticity, beauty, and a heartfelt connection to this ancient city , Thanks Said

ItalyI had a wonderful stay at this Riad in Fes. From the moment we arrived, Ali at the reception made us feel so welcome and taken care of. He, along with everyone else we met during our stay, was incredibly kind and attentive. The Riad itself was impeccably clean, and the staff was always ready to cater to any request we had, making sure we were comfortable at all times. One of the highlights was the stunning rooftop terrace, where we could relax and enjoy the views. The food was absolutely delicious. We dined there twice, trying different dishes each time, and I can honestly say it was the best meal we had during our stay in Fes (and we ate at several other places!). The flavors were incredible and the hospitality was top-notch. We also booked a guide to explore the old city of Fes, which was fantastic. However, we were a little disappointed with the guide for the area outside the city. Despite this, the Riad itself was simply amazing, with wonderful people and great food. Highly recommend it!

United StatesStaff is extremely polite and hospitality was great. Very helpful to even lend a extra umbrella to us due to rain. It felt like we stayed with extended family. They even safely kept my daughters purse when she forgot it in the lobby until we returned. Felt like we lived in a small palace

The place is amazing and the staff, especially Ali, will make you have an incredible time. He was very kind in sharing with us the history of the place, giving tips and even facilitating a to go breakfast for the last day when we needed to go on the road super early. I can say easily that this Riad has made my visit to Fez unforgettable, you will not regret it!

**A Magical Stay at Riad Sara in Fez** Our two-night stay at **Riad Sara** in Fez was absolutely enchanting! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff, who made us feel at home right away. The riad itself is a stunning example of traditional Moroccan architecture, with beautifully intricate tilework, elegant courtyards, and a peaceful atmosphere that provided a perfect retreat from the bustling medina. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with authentic Moroccan details. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after days spent exploring the wonders of Fez. Breakfast each morning was a delightful experience—freshly baked bread, pastries, local jams, and traditional Moroccan mint tea, all served in the charming courtyard. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Riad Sara’s location is ideal—tucked away in a quiet part of the old city but still within walking distance of Fez’s famous souks, historical sites, and vibrant streets. Overall, our stay at Riad Sara was unforgettable. If you’re looking for a beautiful, authentic, and welcoming place to stay in Fez, this riad is an excellent choice.

United StatesNothing, everything was excellent.
Very well located, a minute walk from where the taxis drop you, and close to everything you want to see in the Medina. The place looked like a palace--absolutely stunningly beautiful. The room was very comfortable and the shower wonderfully hot! The staff were very helpful, served a late dinner that was good, and excellent breakfast, and let us leave our bags. A lovely riad and a great value.

MoroccoWhile I was not planning to stay in Fes, I made a last minute one-day booking by looking at the reviews of Riad Sara. Although it was last minute, I asked them to heat the room before I arrived and they responded very quickly. When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted with a warm room. Ali, Ibrahim and Said are the most helpful, pleasant to talk to, sincere and professional people you will ever meet in your life. Even though I had no plan and no idea about the city, Ali took his time to help me make a plan. The hospitality of the hotel is on another level. You will see friendly staff no matter what time it is. The rooms and the hotel itself are very clean and might be the most beautiful riad you will ever see. Don't miss breakfast because everything served tastes great. If the weather is nice, don't forget to spend time on the terrace and drink Moroccan tea. The location of the hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the Blue Gate (Bab Bou Jeloud). It is outside the crowds of the medina but close enough to be in the medina in a short time if you want. There are guards on the street of the hotel 24 hours a day. So it is very safe. For all these reasons, I extended my 1 night visit to 2 nights. Everything was marvellous.

Ali and Ibraham were very attentive during the meal times and we highly recommend dinner at the Riad, specifically the Chicken Pastilla! Phenomenal. Breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad a number of breads and jams, coffee and mint tea and eggs. The architecture and tile work were absolutely stunning!
