Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt might be a bit noisy within the riad during nighttime if you stay on ground floor. Wi-fi connection could be better. But these are just minor issues, I would still definitely recommend to others.
The value for money is amazing, I would recommend it to others. The location is at the outskirt of the medina, so it is very central. It is about 10 minutes taxi ride from Fez train station. As it is inside in the medina, almost all the tourist attractions are within walking distance, such as The Blue Gate. The bed is quite comfortable, and the room is clean. Room size is great. The shower is really hot and constant. Good enough lighting. The staff, like Ali, are really informative and amiable. The whole riad style is elegant, authentic and cozy, makes you feel like home indeed. The breakfast is good, with a variety of fruits and pancakes. Food quality is good. Good welcoming mint tea. Air-conditioning is cool enough. Good riad experience overall.

Poland- The bathroom could definitely use an upgrade. - The rooms are really dark and I was cold all the time while inside. - The pillows are very uncomfortable, neither of us could sleep on them. - It's a riad, so some noise is to be expected, but one night there was a full on party going on right behind our door and the staff didn't do anything about it. It made it impossible to sleep. Other nights were quiet and peaceful.
+ Super friendly and helpful staff. + The best food we've had in all of Morocco. + Spacious room. + Location: very close to the Blue Gate, but in a quiet little street.

PortugalThis Riad looks very grand on the pics but definitely needs some upgrading. The bed was very comfortable; the bathroom was from another era. Staff was polite, nothing special. Great location.

JapanThe staircase leading to the second floor was quite dark, and the springs on the right side of the bed were noticeably worn out.
The hotel was conveniently located close to the Bab Bou Jeloud. The room was beautifully designed and had a bathtub. The breakfast was delicious as well. Although it was a bit dim even during the day as it is located deep in an alley, the security was not an issue. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance.

CanadaThey charged me an extra 25 euros for an extra person in my room (even though I booked a 3 person room) They offered to book a tour for me at an outrageously high price. It would seem they are trying to squeeze their guests for every penny. (They wanted to charge 250 euros when other companies were charging 120 for the same tour)
The main lobby area looks very nice and authentic

IrelandMy stay at this riad was the worst experience of all the stay i had in my all trip , they charge 5 eurous extra for paying in morroco dirham . and 25 euros more for an extra guest in the same room . they are definitly over priced , we were cold during the night . and went to bed smelling fish order by other guest I will not recommended staying in this place , and i would never go back , the bathroom had some stained , and when you paid 65 euros for a night you expext a better service. I just had the feeling they are here to make you spend money in they 're riad , oh you should order here , instead of expericing the town, I had better experienc for cheaper in other riad

they were overbooked and I ended up staying in another hotel. although the other hotel was cheaper on booking.com i didn’t get refunded the difference. they said I would only spend one night in the other hotel but they failed to contact me and when i wanted to move there the second night they said they were still overbooked. the communication wasn’t good and i had to chase Saiid. I ended up staying in the alternative hotel for my full stay as they couldn’t accommodate me. very disappointed in the service. would not book again.
