Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomPoor WiFi reception outside of central lounge area.
Riad Sebti was beautifully presented home, with private, secure parking, which was a must for us travelling my motorcycle. We were offered a choice of good sized bedroom, with balcony and ensuite bathroom. The bed was super comfy, with quality bed linen, personal dressing gowns and a small mini fridge. Staff were very welcoming and very helpful, catering for our every need. A special mention of both Mousaf and Khadija, who were both lovely and helped to make our first visit to Fes a great experience. Both breakfast and dinner are pretty sumptuous affairs, so you'll never go hungry here!!! A recommended place to stay!!

United StatesWe were there end of December and the weather was cold, 40's F in the morning. The main sitting areas and dining areas are not heated. There is a small fireplace, which is nice to sit in front of, but otherwise we were cold. So we sat for breakfast in warm layers. Our room had a minisplit, but the room was so large it took time to heat. Staff was kind and lent us a space heater. We wore our robes in our room :) Shower door didn't open well. I think it's a city issue and not a property issue - but the water pressure in the bathroom in the sink and toilet were low to no water during the night. Also, as most properties we stayed in Morocco in winter, we had to let the water run to get hot water. Then there was plenty of hot water. The only issue we had was upon check out - The young man running the Riad tried to overcharge us for the stay. More than the price agreed to on Booking. He also wanted to charge us for the tea that they offered us. And $45 per person for dinner (normally dinner should be about $15-$25). So because this was so ridiculous, we refused to pay for the excessive charges. He called the property owner and the dinner charge was put back to normal, we weren't charged for the tea we never drank, and we paid the agreed-to rate per Booking. There were no hard feelings and everyone was happy.
Nice gated property 15 min drive to the center and medina of Fes. Traditional "welcome" Moroccan tea served upon our arrival. Good breakfast served at our table by Khadya the wonderful chef and her assistant Aziza, and staff. Breakfast was eggs, breads, yogurt, jams, honey, juice, coffee. We had to leave early on our departure date and the two ladies had a warm and cold breakfast prepared for us to take in the car at 7am! They were so sweet! Pleasant and attentive staff. We were in the large room with a king bed, on the ground floor. Quiet, comfortable bed and linens. Outlets by the bed endtables. We ate dinner there the night we arrived which was very good. There was parking in front of the property, and the staff let us park inside the gate.

SwitzerlandThere was very strong smell of roses inside - it can be considered as an added value, but for those who don’t like strong smells it might be a bit overwhelming.
Nicely located for people driving with own/ rented car. A bit in distance from the old medina, but for us it was a great plus. The breakfast was delicious! And there was so much food, that we couldn’t eat even half of it and have skipped lunch afterwards. We have booked a guided tour through Fes with the help of owner of the Riad - our guide - Ali - was amazing! He’s showed us highlights of Fes and took very good care of us, so we were not bothered by local “guides”. We felt safe and taken care of - strongly recommended!

CanadaNothing; you will have an excellent experience at this first class Riad.
Everything, it’s all great, but it was our host Youssef that made our trip and time in FES simply delightful. Youssef and his partner Feti are the kindest people you will ever encounter in FES! Words can not express their kindness, generosity and helpfulness. They made our trip!

NigeriaDespite it being a cold winter (circa 7°C in the mornings and evenings), heating of the indoor common / lounge areas where guests are welcomed and meals served wasn't routinely turned on. It took my asking for a fire to be lit one evening as eating dinner became uncomfortable because the lounge area was too cold.
Homely, comfortable, clean, hospitable, friendly and helpful staff, good food, spacious accommodation.

Riad Sebti Fes is a guesthouse run by a very welcoming family and staff. Ismail is super kind, professional and friendly and always makes sure you’re well taken care of. Muhammed is always at your service and ready to help with any requests. The two ladies are also very professional and polite, and prepared us each morning the best homemade breakfast we had in Morocco. Additionally, the staff also provided us with a tour guide named Rashid to show us around the Medina and all its landmarks who stayed with us the whole day and was super knowledgeable and such a kind soul. This has been a wonderful experience with outstanding staff service and beautiful and honest people. We hope one day to be back and we highly recommend it to anyone staying in Fes. Thank you Riad Sebti Fes :)

United KingdomNothing, everything was perfect.
Definitely the 1st class Riad with the top facilities and services. Riad Sebti Fes is located at the rich part of Fes which gives you peace of mind after the crazy Medina tour. The Riad has stunning decorations with very high quality bedding and towels. The breakfast was the best one we had in our 10 days tour in Morocco, we stayed in 4 different hotels and Riads, Fes was our last stop. Every day when we came back, the nice tea and traditional desserts were waiting for us. Ismail and the owner were very helpful to arrange everything for us, the special restaurants, taxi and the excursion tours. We learned a lot of local knowledges from Ismail which are very interesting. We definitely will go back to Riad Sebti Fes in the future.
