Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EgyptStunning accommodation in a quiet back street within the Medina walls. Lotfi was very friendly and helpful; going out of his way to help me connect up my phone and other small things.

New ZealandThis is a beautiful traditional riad with a wonderful owner who is so helpful. Upon arrival, he made fresh Moroccan tea and coffee and offered me a free tour all around the medina. Lotfi had lots of interesting trivia about the medina as he is born and raised there. The top floor room with the private bathroom is actually a little apartment with kitchen and private roof top access. The bathroom has plenty of toilet paper and hot water, large fridge, coat hangers, table and chair, spare blankets and pillows. I stayed an extra two nights on the middle floor with shared bathroom, the bathroom is large and only shared by two rooms. It is well ventilated and cleaned, with hair dryer, great pressure and plenty of hot water. The building is very clean, laundry service is available for a good price, and all sheets and towels smell fresh and new. The view from both the top floor private room and the patio that is accessible to everyone, overlooks the markets and mountains on one side, and up to all the houses and kasbah on the other. It's in the heart of the medina but down an alleyway so nice and quiet. Everything is easily accessible from here, I even based myself here and did day trips to the blue city Chefchaouen as it's only an hour by bus. I highly recommend and would love to go back one day

AustraliaThe staff were fantastic. I was delayed in arriving, however I was met at the car parking, and escorted through to the Riad, pointing out several interesting points and dinner options along the way. Fantastic stay and highly recommended.

South KoreaThe host Lotfi is very nice and helpful. Compare to the price, there is nothing i can complain about. I have stayed in 3 different hotels in Morocco, and I find it is quite hard to find the Riad, but in this accommodation, host Lotfi will come and pick you up and bring you to your room and explain about cities well!! Thank you Lotfi.

United KingdomEverything was good.
A real original Riad with authentic furniture and decor, in great location just inside the medina walls in quiet lane nearby by entry gate. Just minutes walk to Royal Palace, main square, and cafed/ places to eat. Has several sitting areas with sofas and a rooftop area with amazing views in all directions over medina, white houses on hillside and to mountains. Water was hot, WiFi OK. Mr Lotfi was very friendly and so helpful with lots of useful local info. Top floor room is only one with own bathroom.

NetherlandsThe size of my room, but this is going to be changed.
Very special Riad in the middle of the medina, with the best host you can ever imagine. I stayed several nights and it felt like a home away from home. The riad was well preserved with authentic tiling. The rooms were plain but clean. The housekeeper was as friendly as the host.

The rooms were amazing. Unusually long with so much detail. Beds were comfortable. Mr Lofti was so lovely and helpful. Excellent communication before we stayed there too which was helpful and helpful advised us about transport options to Chefchaouen. Lovely terrace upstairs. Felt very secure and safe. Was very quiet. BelgiumThe bed was not so good, the mattress was too soft because she was worn.
We loved the people working in the riad. Also the facilities were great, like at home: fridge, hair dryer, iron, shampoo, soap, ... All are available, which was great. All the spaces we've been in were super clean :)

Private bathroom room on top floor was lovely, very spacious with fridge. Great views from the terrace. if arrive and don't have google maps, go straight through bab tut and turn right at the fountain on my photo. Riad is about 2 minutes from there down a passage on RHS.
