Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWalking in I immediately felt calm. It’s tranquil, with a beautiful pool, in the centre of the riad. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was very pleasant, inward facing. Breakfast was good. Mixture of breads, jams, omelette. Bathroom lovely. Vehicle access is the end of the road, and a short walk. Trying to find the front door is not easy… I walked past 3-4 times! Google maps will be your friend!! Circa 20-30mins walk from the centre, but plenty of local markets closer. Highly recommended.

Beautiful traditional riad with peaceful ambience. The room we booked was quite big and we absolutely loved the bathroom decor. Also, beds were very comfy; we definitely had restful sleep here. I have to highlight the common seating area by the pool - absolutely stunning. It takes approximately 30 mins by foot to the medina, for the taxi we paid 60 during the day and 90 MAD at night. Mustapha welcomed us warmly and was very heedful during the whole stay. Definitely recommended!

United KingdomVery traditional Riad. Staff are lovely, always smiling and can't do enough for you. Food was really good! You need to try the tagine WOW! (order in advance). So peaceful and relaxing. We loved our stay and will definitely come back. Not too far from the medina (between 50-100MAD in a taxi depending on driver). Amazing value for money. Our room opened out onto the terrace which was a lovely touch.

IrelandMustafa the owner is simply the kindest person I’ve met during my trip. He’ll make sure you have all that you need all the time. Always ready to make you a delicious marocan tea. The property is located in a local neighbourhood which makes the stay more authentic - you’ll see marrocan people shopping, taking the kids to school, going to work. I absolutely enjoyed my stay there. Local buses costs 4 MD (0,38 EUR) and will get you anywhere you need to go in the city. Properly is not too far by taxi from the airport. Highly recommend.

PolandWe loved everything.
Everything was perfect. Our rooms were cleaned everyday for the 4 nights we stayed. Breakfast was lovely, with traditional morrocan pasteries. Our host Mustafa was very helpful and cheerful and went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. He even packed us breakfast when we had to leave very early in the morning. The Riad itself was easy to find, and located not so far from the Medina, about 15 mins drive, and there are places to eat nearby. If we are ever in Marrakech we would surely stay here again.

United KingdomI loved my 3 night stay at Riad Syba.! I had a spacious, comfortable room with tasteful traditional furnishings, and the whole place felt homely and welcoming. The owner, Mustapha, is exceptionally kind and helpful. He is very happy to share his local knowledge to help make the most of your time in Morocco. It's a 40-45 minute walk or an inexpensive (€4) 15 minute taxi ride to the Medina and other local attractions. I enjoyed walking and seeing more of the city. It can be a bit noisy in the street later in the day and into the evening but that's the norm when staying in a city. The mornings are very quiet and I slept really well during my stay. Great value for money, I would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend.

AustraliaThis beautiful riad was a joy to behold when we arrived at midnight and the atmosphere, furnishings as well as the staff's kindness and friendliness were truly delightful. We felt like we were in a little patch of paradise and only wished that we had spent more time on the terrace during our stay as it was a calm oasis in busy Marrakesh. Mustafa was an amazing host who was able to help me quickly sort through some unforeseen events and his calm demeanour and exceptional organisational skills were very much appreciated. The delicious breakfast was traditional Moroccan and enough to keep us going until dinner time. The twin room was spacious enough for two people and beautifully decorated. It exceeded our expectations and though it was a little out of the central town there are plenty of taxis nearby and Mustafa always helped us to organise getting around the city, and to and from the airport with ease. I would highly recommend this riad as it set the tone for the rest of our travels. We certainly plan on returning again soon. Thanks to Mustafa and his friendly staff.

I had an amazing stay! The room was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. Mustapha truly exceeded expectations with his hospitality—he was incredibly friendly and helpful. He even went above and beyond by loaning me 50 dirhams to sort out my phone data before I had the chance to exchange any local currency. Such kindness made my trip even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others!

Mustapha, made our visit to marrakech memorable. He couldn't help us enough ie giving us names of the best local restaurants and apps for taxis 🚕. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and you need to have hs tagine perfect. If you want to be out of the centre of the medina, this is the place for you, riad is beautiful and in the middle local life , but still peaceful and beautiful decor. 10/10

United KingdomNothing - it’s located further from the centre, but we enjoyed walking in the morning (30 mins to the square) and taxiing back in the evening.
The room was absolutely beautiful- like something from a magazine; we had a standard suite. This was our second stay in Marrakech over the course of our time in Morocco and the room was double the size of the previous riad. Mustapha was absolutely lovely, going way above and beyond to help us out (the wheel came off our suitcase, he got us tape), printing our boarding passes and booking us a taxi to the airport. Breakfast was traditional Moroccan and very nice. The location is further out of the centre but gave the opportunity for a nice walk through a calm neighbourhood in the morning and a quiet nights sleep. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you!
