It wasnt too clean, the water wasnt flowing down the drain when I showered, the showerhead was kinda broken, the closest socket to the bed didnt work

The location is not too bad, because it is close to the main square in Medina. It had breakfast included.

Tarik has been really helpful, we were able to check-in late in the evening since we were arriving in Marrakech after a desert tour. The riad is beautiful and the room clean. We really enjoyed the tasty breakfast. We could also leave our backpacks in the riad after check out for free, since we had flight later in the evening. The position is literally in the heart of Medina.

I booked a single room with air conditioning and a private bathroom. When I got there, I was given a room without a window, broken air conditioning, broken power outlets and broken shower. I asked for another room and I was obliged to pay more (not much, but it's the principle) to have a room that didn't have the flaws the first one had. The owner may have gotten 7€ more (since it was impossible to keep the first room because of the humidity) but I'll never go back and -obviously- I'll never recommend this place to anyone.

Location, good breakfast. Early check in was great too.

the ceilings were quite low over the stairwell, so despite Tarik warning us not to bump our heads, we hit our heads many times!

beautiful property in a great location. comfortable bed and very dark room so could have a much needed sleep in. warm shower. simple breakfast with assortment of breads, juice, tea and coffee. very friendly staff. paid to have washing done.

    • Chahde Single Room
    • Stayed 1 night

The single room is tiny. The room is just next to the reception where other customers come and go. Don't expect any soundproofing (incl. from reception and other rooms) as there is a gap on the door. Slow Internet. The bathroom is narrow and there is a blockage.

Good location within Medina in a quiet alley. A fully immersed experience of a Riad-style room. Reception is OK. An ideal choice if you just need a sleeping place but not staying in the room for leisure.

the mold on the wall is a big problem that needs to be fixed asap. it's super unhealthy to spend a night in a room with broken ventilator which made the walls and the room air super wet and unbreathable...

    The location is really nice.

The room was not the same as in the photo provided. When I asked, all I was told was "not here". Very disappointed in the room. It was slightly below ground level and next to the front entrance so I heard everyone coming and going. The service was non existent. I had sent a message before I arrived asking for directions and despite acknowledging my message, no directions were provided. The taxi driver called the phone number on the site but the number was not in service. They changed their phone number but did not update it on booking.com.

Good location on a quiet street but still close to everything. Rooftop terrace was nice.

The room that i booked Is not what i had. Dont book this Riad if you are traveling alone for sure since the picture that its on the reservation is different from what you'll have. I booked the room With Windows and Orange painted walls but they gave me a room like storage With no Windows and the toilet has a stinky odor. When i asked to have the room that i booked as like in the picture. they asked me 30€ more because the owner said its a double room but i think It unfair. They have only One hairdyer. Ask the night before otherwise you wont have oppurtunity to dry your hair since other room have It and you have ti wait at 11 or 12 at check out or the other guest Is gone. (or the guest Will return at back) I had to stay Just One night so i Just left the argument and didnt want to ruin my vacation. They dont accept card so bring cash With you

The lady that works in the Riad Is really hard working. All though She doesnt speak different languages she's makes things confortable.

The room is extremely small, the equipment is bad and lacking, shower, electricity, the door. No windows in most of the rooms. No ventilation in the toilet and the shower. It there is window - it is small and high. No shelves, no space for shelves to put things.

The matrasses, the location, the low price.

Was on ground floor so window view is the living room but that is expected of a Riad! Otherwise no fault really!!

When we arrived, there were no towels or soap in the room, we had to ask for these and were given two rather old towels. The bathroom was tiny, had no light and the floor was dirty and very slippery. There was no bath mat. Breakfast was very basic and consisted of bread, cheap margarine, some weak coffee and tea and some cold pancakes. We asked twice for some eggs for breakfast and were eventually rewarded by having one egg between us! When it came time to leave for the airport, Tarik offered to help by booking a taxi for the airport. He quoted us a price of 300 dirhams which is nearly 30 euros. This is double the going rate and although he "negotiated" the price down to 200 we decided to make our own arrangements and paid 150....which is the maximum anyone should pay! We stayed in three separate rooms during our time in Morocco and all three were rather disappointing. Apart from the lack of cleanliness and danger from the very slippery bathrooms, all three lacked any storage space or other hotel basics. Ripping off tourists for taxi rides will give the Moroccan tourist industry a bad name...and that would be a shame as we have had great experiences in other Riads.

Tarik was helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us to print our boarding passes and was understanding when we had to cancel one of our bookings. The price for the room was competitive compared to other Riads near by.

Stayed here on our way back home as the first night was great and we didn't want to risk getting a poor sleep before our flight. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Tarik even helped us with last minute logistics which we are very grateful for and also arranged a very early taxi to the airport right from the accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

This was our first night in Marrakech and it was a great welcome. Tarik's house has a lot of atmosphere, it's clean, located right in the Medina but on a quiet street so we had a great sleep followed by awesome breakfast on the rooftop. Tarik is super friendly and we would return for sure.

i was accommodated in a ground floor room (Right by the entrance door of the Riad ) which was extremely noisy and annoying every time a guest comes in and out. on my first night some guests were checking in at 11.30 pm Continually knocking the door for 5 minutes ! i tried to reach out to Tarek the manager to change the room but he never answered any of my messages for two consecutive nights ! in addition , there were ants in the room , no soap or shampoo in toilet and the breakfast was quite basic compared to other riads I have been into ! very disappointing experience I would never recommend

Room was a bit small but very traditional.

Tarik was amazing in giving us all the tricks to start our journey in Marrakesh. We booked for a cheaper room which was on the ground floor and Tarik proposed to move in the room on the third floor for a little price. He also printed our boarding pass the day before (please be aware that you will need boarding pass printed at Marrakesh Airport). Breakfast was very good and traditional. Room was cleaned and made up every morning. Very central location, in the Medina but very peaceful at all times. We had a great stay.
