Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryHonestly food could be better. We visited one of the a la carte restaurants and the food there.....i would say is 3/10. If you are drinking your coffee with alternative milk, the only choice they have is soy milk, and they often run out of it.. Also be prepared, that you won't find a free sunbed after 8 am. Everybody wakes up around 6 am to book them.
The rooms are really spacious and clean. There are plenty of swimming pools, only one of them is heated. Huge selection at dinner.

ItalyIt’s not perfect. It has some defects: - I had some problems with my room. There was a weird smell coming from the toilet. Not sure if it’s a common problem or just my room. Anyway I reuested maintanance and it was marked as solved. But the day after the smell reappeared. Workaround: keep a\c on to make the disappear the problem - there is an adult only swimming pool, but there is no enforcement of the rule. I have seen multiple times kids & babies in this area - it might be difficult to find a spot where to stay because people have the (bad) habit to put beach towels to reserve the spot… Theorically not allowed, pratically tollerated by the staff. - for a 5 star resort I would have expected a better amenities line. very basic soap & shower gel - the “heated” swimming pool is a bit cold anyway. How many degrees is kept?
A very beautiful place, designed with charm and style. The staff is friendly and willing to help all the time. Glory mention to the animation team that did an amazing job. Not even to mention the good quality food options. 3 a la carte restaurants (1 BBQ, 1 Marocco, 1 fusion) , 2 buffet restaurants. 3-4 bars. Incredible facilities. Possibility of controlling everything via app (maintenance & housekeeping i.e) The room is very spacious and the bed comfort is amazing. All the materials used in the room are high quality. The gym is big and very nice, but can be crowed in certain times. Good wifi, almost good everywhere with some dark spots around the swimming pools. Amazing cocktails and drinks at the main bar, less good at the pool bars.

United KingdomImpressions faded and ground reality hit with disastrous 5 star hotel service: Buffet (breakfast and dinner) staff are impolite and unwilling to help, a breakfast coffee service is normally served by the waiter thought all waiters are wandering around and not giving a single eye to costumers. Pool staff: same observation. The food itself wasn’t great and lacked seasoning, serving disappointing Moroccan cuisine which didn’t reflect the beauty of morrocan food, that was actually offered just nearby in Taghazout village. Overall, the hotel skeleton in 5 stars compliant, all staff are lacking good behavior, unprofessional and need to be revised.
The hotel is located in the heart of Taghazout bay, which makes it at a perfect walking distance from both Taghazout and Tamraght. The hotel itself was a palace, with more than 7 pools and other tempting facilities (gym, independent spa service, 4 restaurants and 24/7 bar), first impression was very good.

SwitzerlandFood was at times cold and not well cooked. Reservations for the three other restaurants were always fully booked. Surroundings were not always well cleaned.
Much options too enjoy (activities, pool, gym etc.). Big rooms, variety of foods, attentive staffs.

United KingdomThe menus and service at the a la carte restaurants were a little disappointing, especially in comparison to the main buffet restaurant. The steak restaurant had no steak on the menu, and the lobster dish had no lobster in it...
The staff really made this place special. Nothing was too much trouble, they took time to talk to guests and they were so attentive! The location was also incredible - right on the beach and only a short walk to the authentic village of Taghazout.

United KingdomThe food in general wasn’t fantastic, very basic. Restaurant staff weren’t friendly. The hammam bath at the spa was just a regular body scrub, not the actual hammam.
The place is gorgeous! Beach front, loads of pools, grounds were well looked after, and staff very welcoming.

United Kingdomfood quality and taste could be better. big buffet but only like one or two things. breakfast was decent. should be better system for sun beds - people leave their towels on and expect to hog them all day even tho they’re sat empty most of the time but ‘taken’ in winter. no need.
amazing rooms and views. stunning resort, couldn’t ask for more from the staff or building itself.

IrelandI didn't know about the RIU app for a while so was a bit frustrated when I was asking for a few things for my room. However as soon as I figured out the app, their response was excellent.
Really beautiful interior design in the large lobby area and bar. Bedrooms are lovely and spacious. Infinite choices of where to set yourself up for the day by the pool. There's an adults-only pool and sun cabana's as well as many other pools for kids and others. When my friend left I wanted to just chill by myself so I spent most of my time by the adult-pool. There are a team of events staff that go around trying to rally guests to join in to various games, etc. Not for me! But the staff were really respectful of single travellers which I liked.

United KingdomThe food wasn’t great, not much variety and lack flavour. The cocktails weren’t very good and all tasted the same. The evening entertainment was a let down. On arrival there was no WiFi available, an ongoing issue I was told. You had to pay to use the steam room, £8 for 20 minutes the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Overall nice hotel but lack simple things, would I return probably not.
The outdoor pools were nice, the only issue is all the pool has freezing cold water, was told before my stay that they had heated pools, this wasn’t the case, even the indoor pool wasn’t heated. Must staff were pleasant and welcoming.
