Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe reception staff were not very welcoming and friendly. When we first arrived at the hotel, we weren’t greeted by anyone. When we were checking in, the lady who served us was getting annoyed and frustrated at us asking questions, and it seemed her attention was elsewhere. One of the waiters also showed his annoyance at the mess my 11 month old made on the floor and high chair during meal times which was not nice to see.
The property was clean thanks to the cleaners who were working very hard even in the hot weather. The animation team were very friendly.

United Kingdomthe room/bathroom was a bit outdated, but it was clean/OK. can't say my bed was too comfy but it was OK for 1 week stay. I wish Hotel had more food variety during the week.
Location was great, straight on the beach front, beautiful surroundings inside the resort. Great Spa, very friendly and helpful staff. Liked seating area inside the main building and live music.. Good size balcony.

GermanyWith more than 450€ per night for our family (2 adults & 2 children) the condition of the rooms, towels and food could be a little bit better.
Very good hotel and best stuff I see bevor! You don’t need to go outside, everything is in the hotel. Biggest Lobby, live music, karaoke, billiard, hamam & SPA, Volleyball, Pingpong and much more with very good quality animation. Many thanks for all people who works in the hotel RIU Tikida Dunes in Agadir in April 2023!

United KingdomThe indoor pool was cloudy, not sure why, and I was unwell after using it so avoided it after my first use. Rooms got hot at night and our air con was a bit feeble.
The hotel felt spacious, clean with varied facilities. The service staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff tried hard to offer activities although most people do just want to relax and be left alone on holiday. Good variety of food and drink available throughout the day.

United KingdomDidnt quite like the variety in asian cuisine . Asian should include some dishes from Indian or Pakistani dishes as there are lots of British Asian tourists that visit Agadir quite often.
Food was perfect for all ages . Variety was quite good .

United KingdomThe big disappointment was the food which was very repetitive and often lacked flavour. Fewer dishes but better cooked would have been better. The hotel had a strict no reserving of sunbeds policy but did not enforce it, even when people reerved sunbeds and went out for half day trips. The room towels were very thin and rough. The bathroom could have done with an uplift.
The hotel was very well laid out, very well landscaped and the location was great. Staff were good. The indoor pool was a real bonus. The lounge areas were very comfortable. The room was lovely overall.

IrelandThere was nothing to complain about.
Amazing all inclusive hotel, you couldn't ask for more. Great location right on the beach. A leisurely stroll to marina( 5km). A short taxi drive to the mountain for the cable car ( must do, amazing view to the marina, Agadir and Atlas mountains)

United KingdomThe food, in general, is terrible. It is somewhat what you would expect from a buffet style all you can eat but really, don't have high expectations. Also, whilst the use of the tennis courts is great, the racquets they have to use are pretty poor. Old and with dodgy strings. Fun for our ability.
The hotel was pretty good. Very spacious and clean, with lovely staff members. The beachside nature of it made sunset walks exceptional. The use of the tennis courts was great. Also - book the Morrocan restaurant! The food is substantially better than the normal dinner.

EstoniaNo heated pool outside for adults, but this is very minor thing :)
Everything was very good: wide variety of food, staff very friendly, nice view from sea view room, inside pool for possible bad weather, they even have a luggage scale in the luggage room- small thing, but small things matter.

United KingdomThe air conditioning system have one mode; warm in winter and cold in summer. if traveling from Europe and having some health conditions that need cooler weather in winter ( night could be 14-16 C), the only option is leaving the windows open and using the ceiling fan which sometimes can’t be very effective. I really recommend to contact the hotel and ask when they start using the cooling air conditioning!
The staffs were very friendly. Carlos, the hotel manager and Othman, the reception manager, were really helpful to sort out the issues. Foods were really delicious and rooms were spacious and clean. we wish we could stay longer. We will definitely come back!

IrelandBathroom poorly drained. Towels not as clean and fresh as expected. A bit run down generally. People should not be permitted to leave plates of food to feed the seagulls which are a nuisance and unhealthy.
Food in general was a little better than previous occasions. Landscaping and external maintenance was excellent.

United KingdomBathroom and pool towels need replacing - very thin. A soap dispenser on the shower but no other toiletries as you would expect in a 4 star hotel - other reviews flagged that so I took my own.
Location by the beach with lovely gardens. Large room with balcony - you can hear the sea. Good quality food with alcohol included in the deal. Attentive staff. Some music entertainment each eve which was needed as nothing much outside the hotel. would go again

United KingdomI would have liked more of an option of some of their traditional foods in the restaurants within the hotel. Although the food was tasty I like the feeling of entering another part of the world when eating in other countries.
The people were absolutely amazing, I really couldn't fault them. Nothing was too much for them to do. The service was outstanding and I would definitely stay there again. The facilities and entertainment was also first class.

SwitzerlandEverything seemed a bit "grubby", not quite dirty but also not quite clean. The toilet paper was horribly thin. The friendliness of the hotel staff was a hit or miss, even with tipping, some staff members were just rude/unfriendly. Stay away from the Spa! I booked a pedicure for myself as well as a massage for me and my son. Thankfully my massage got cancelled since the "pedicure" I got and massage that my son received were anything but professional.
The size of our room was quite comfortable. We found the food options to be quite good. The food was always fresh as well as freshly made. There were multiple times to go eat so even if you are a late riser, you can still get breakfast items even at noon. The pool area was lovely, but as the water was cool we were not able to enjoy actually swimming in the pool. We also were not that pestered by the Seagulls but perhaps that has more to do with the time of year we visited. There were also many activities to participate in, if that's your thing. The smaller children seemed to be having the most fun with all the activities and the animation staff really seemed to make an extra effort entertaining them.
