Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe Riad is about a 10-20 minute walk from the main parts of town depending on where you are going. This was not an issue for us and we were happy to walk everywhere but something to be aware of.
Riad Boustane is beautiful and the people that work there make it even better. Oussama and Yassir made us feel at home the whole time and Ousamma even upgraded our room free of charge. They were both amazing throughout our whole stay and made sure we were always well taken care of. The breakfasts were also great and made even better when you get to eat it on the beautiful rooftop every morning.

FranceI really don't see much. I'd say wifi is not only great and you must make sure you're connected on the right network. And the swimming pool was not very warm, but let's be honest it was end of November so I'm being extremely picky there. It was a great stay, really go for it !
Our stay at Riad Boustane was simply great. The hotel is beautiful and nicely decorated: the patio, the huge terrace and the rooms were clean, comfy and pretty. Food is good, especially breakfast! A nice mix of Moroccan specialties and "global" elements. We had one dinner there and it was great as well. Location is not right in the center of the Medina but this is actually nice because it gives you the opportunity to see less touristic and more authentic areas of the city. Plus the "new city" outside the city walls is just a few blocks away and it is worth a visit as well, especially if you ask Oussama and Yassir, the hosts, to recommend you places. Oussama and Yassir are amazing. Honestly, we had such a great time mostly thanks to them: their friendliness, attention and recommendations made the stay really great. I highly recommend visitors to engage conversations with them because they will give you great and real recommendations. A big thank you to both of them. Last thing: the hammam is definitely a must!

BulgariaRiad Boustane is an attraction to visit on its own. The place is a beautiful historical building walking distance to the centre of the old town of Marrakech (in the Medina). The hosts made us feel like we are at home ,told us all about the city ,advised places to visit and helped with everything we requested, really nice and kind people. Delicious tea was served all day long. Breakfast is very good. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Boustane. Yassir and Ousamma were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to ensure our time there was excellent, and all their recommendations were great. Amazing breakfast everyday and mint teas were also appreciated.

GermanyIt was a great stay but if we need to find a small low point it would be the weak soundproofing between the stairs & our room.
Located on the north side of the Media at walking distance from Jardin Majorelle, this authentic Ryad has a nice terrasse & swimming pool. The staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable & attentive.

SpainThe air conditioning was not working properly.
The Riad is fairly centrally located, 20 minutes walk from the center of the Medina. Our room was spacious and clean. The hosts were very welcoming and nice, giving us guidance and advice on exploring Marrakech. The breakfast was good and also included in the room price.

The location is great and the riad is beautiful, the facilities are great and everything is really taken care of. The highlight of this Riad is the amazing staff Oussama and Mohammed are just incredible, they really make an effort to make you feel comfortable and give really good tips in order to enjoy Marrakesh and will help you with booking restaurants or anything you may need. Just for them it is worth every penny. Easy to walk by from the riad close to the medina and the new city. I will for sure repeat if i come back to Marrakesh

United KingdomOne of the receptionist didn’t speak very well English so we had a little trouble understanding each other. Moreover, prices of all additional services and tours/experiences were way too exaggerated (based on price comparisons made there).
They offered everything in the hotel and the cleaners changed towels every day.

United KingdomA little hard to find as the sign is small and not noticeable in the darkness. We arrived quite late and the riad was cold, but we were kept waiting before being shown our room, albeit with mint tea.. Breakfast not great.
A beautiful riad, our room was very large with a 4 poster bed, seating area and large bathroom ( we had been upgraded). The bed was comfortable with 2 pillows each, good quality sheets. Heating good. Did not use the shower so can't comment. Greeted with a mint tea.Only stayed one night before early flight next day.

RomaniaRegarding our stay at Riad Boustane, we didn't check in here since we considered it not safe for us to stay overnight. We called a taxi to pick us up from the previous hotel and take us to Riad Boustane. Previously, we were given a phone number to call the property for arrival instructions. Our driver tried to call the property all the way there and the phone was closed. He agreed to go with us to find the property as it is in a very crowded and unsafe area of the medina. We found the property, the door was locked with a key. Finally someone answered and everything was a mess, with chairs all over the place and no one at the reception. They said this is because of the new year's eve party. The room is much smaller than how it looks in photos and very cold. The man from the reception was very kind, but he couldn't find our Booking reservation, he said that his boss hadn't updated the reservation list. We left our luggage there for about 4 hours to take a walk and decide what to do. When we came back, the door was again shutdown and the riad still looked like a mess, the place was not cleaned after the party. We were told we cannot get a refund since it is too late. We consider this place unsafe and not worthy of the price asked. There are so many great places in Marrakech and this is not one of them.
Unfortunately we did not like this place.

United KingdomThe location of the Riad is certainly not ideal. Quite a long walk to almost any of the popular sites.
Breakfast could be taken in the central patio or on the roof terrace. Staff were always friendly and obliging. Ability to have a very pleasant glass of local wine before going in search of food in largely alcohol free eateries in the Medina was very welcome.

GreeceWhile there were some positives to our stay, it's also important to consider the following when booking: - Definitely ask for one of the rooms in the beautiful patio area. We were put in a small room by a little pool. That negatively affected our stay. The room was small and the blanket seemed dirty. And the wifi did not reach. - They only had one key, which we had to leave behind for them to clean. Then they left the key at the door, which we did not find safe. It Is unlikely anything bad will happen, but if you are not comfortable with this, it is important to know. - The location is not ideal. The Riad is in the Medina but on the edge of it. So, while we didn't feel unsafe (though the entrance to the Riad is in a remote alleyway, and doesn't smell great either), we were about a 15-minute walk from the closest busy area, and it felt out of the way of the nicer spots.
The breakfast was really nice, and the patio of the Riad is very beautiful! And the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
