Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe Ryad was very pretty and comfortable! They were so kind to prepare takeaway breakfast when we needed to leave early. Hammams spa package was great experience too.

United KingdomThe roof terrace where we had breakfast was lovely. Very clean and lovely Moroccan feel. A few more food choices would have been good.
Our room was beautiful and immaculately tidy with lovely soft towels. The location was excellent. Right in the heart of the city. lots of attractions within walking distance.

The welcoming at the start was great, I was given a warm welcome and some good advice about visiting Marrakech. The Ryad was a beautiful place to stay as part of the Marrakech experience. A nice breakfast was cooked each day by a lovely young lady. My room was comfortable.

HungaryMaybe every riad is like that, but the room was not soundproof, but it didn't really bother us.
The room was comfortable, and I liked the design. The breakfast was delicious (eggs, msemen, jams, bread, orange juice and coffee/tea) and it was served on the terrace. On the day we went for a trip early, we got a packaged breakfast to go.

ItalyThe only thing is the room I got didn’t have any window because it was inside the internal patio at ground floor and didn’t have any fan either in the bathroom.
Ryad hamza is a nice place in the Medina, very close to the square. The staff is super nice and helpful for every request.

AustriaThe guy receiving us was not really friendly. The water in the shower spilled over becuase the sink was obviously blocked.
Good location if you want to acces the main square rápidly. Cosy and quiet place. We had to leave early with no time for breakfast but were offered to prepare ourselves coffee in the kitchen. As well they left us a bag with some biscuits and juice for the road.

BelgiumThe riad is a lovely building in need of some tender loving care. The fixtures in the bathroom needed replacing or fixing: loose toilet paper holder, blocked shampoo and soap dispenser, rusting mirror.
All the guys on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The last day we asked for a taxi very early. The guy at the desk had prepared a breakfast for us to take with us and he also carried our suitcase out to where the taxi was waiting for us. Breakfast was good and plentiful and a little bit different every day. Everything was spotlessly clean. Lots of hot water. Comfortable seating outside the room for reading. Excellent location in the medina within walking distance of most sights.

United KingdomThe only slight negative was that we paid the ryad for a driver to pick us up after we got out of the airport and he wasn't there. Fortunately, we called the ryad and it was quickly sorted out, with somebody arriving within the next 10 minutes. Our flight was delayed by an hour, and there was a decent wait to get out of the airport, so I imagine this was the reason. Once we got there however, the receptionist was extremely friendly (I've forgotten his name, apologies), and he gave us lots of tips and places to go in Marrakesh.
The Ryad is set in a great location right next to the square, but down a small side alley so it is still quiet. The ryad itself has 5 floors, and the whole interior is really pretty: - A ground floor with some rooms, a fountain in the middle, some sofas to sit on, table, and the reception desk. - A first and second floor, which all contain rooms. We booked a suite (orange room), and we were on the second floor. We appreciated this as the higher up you are the brighter it is. The first floor also has a nice communal seating area. I think there are 9 rooms all together. We found sleeping in a 4-poster bed with fancy yellow curtains around us quite magical. The bed was comfy enough. The room was big. - The third floor is the terrace where you have breakfast. A nice lady will make this up for you between 8am-11am, whenever you choose to go up. The fourth floor is the rooftop where you can also have breakfast. (both the third floor terrace and fourth floor rooftop have nice views). Along with the location, the free breakfast with nice views is one of the main reasons we chose this ryad :). The breakfast was yummy and fairly similar each morning, but that was fine because we only stayed 4 nights. It mainly consisted of; Morrocan pancake, assorted pastry, bread, fried egg, a selection of spreads (butter, jam, dairylea), juice, coffee/tea, and a bottle of water. More than enough food :). The wifi was free and surprisingly fast. Our shower was hot and well-pressured. The water came out more like a solid stream, rather than through the holes, but that was fine. The room came with shower gel and shampoo dispensers next to the shower, but you had to press them about 50 times to get a reasonable amount out of them. Again, that didn't matter because we brought our own anyway. For more money, you can find nicer Ryad's, for less money you will find worse. This was a happy medium for us.
