Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab Emiratesno way for air to get in unless you keep the door open, with the ceiling glass, it turns the tent into a convection oven by day and a pressure cooker by night. someone should fire the person who designed it the host is an amateur comedian and will make fun of the guests so make sure you have thick skin no air conditioning. it's evaporative cooling which is almost worse
tent in the desert, whats not to like

PortugalWe really enjoyed our stay here. The camp is a bit far from the big dunes but it's totally worth it for the view from the tent. We were able to watch the stars every night. However it does get a bit cold and the only heater was a gas one so we weren't confortable leaving it on during the night. Breakfast could be way more complete but overall we had a great time.

PortugalBe aware that if you stay in Sky View Camping and you rent a car you will not be able to park your car at the camp. The owner will give you a parking space at a hotel near the camp to which he will pick you up and take you to the camp. If you do not speak with the camp owner about wanting a ride back to your car during the day you will be "stuck" in the camp as he leaves during the whole day to do grocery shopping and other personal matters. This is not specified in the camp description and made my girlfriend and I upset as we wanted to explore Merzouga. For example, one day we discussed with the owner that we were thinking about sleeping in the next day, but then ended up changing our minds the next day and wanted to go to our car and explore Merzouga. The owner thought that when we made the sleeping-in choice we had decided to stay at the camp throughout the day which does not make much sense (there is nothing to do at the camp during the day except the activities that are paid for such as camel rides or quad-bikes). For this reason, we ended up having an intense argument with the host as he called us disrespectful and that we were making him our "slave" for asking him to take us to our car when this was not part of the plan and he was not near the camp. Keep in mind that the host never spoke to us about the necessity of planning with him every day our plans for when we wanted to leave the camp so that this situation did not happen nor is this stated in the description of the camp. If you stay in Sky View Camp understand that the camp is far away from roads and that the only way to get there and leave is with the host and that you will need to plan with him every day when you want to leave and come back. This seemed to us something somewhat unpractical as when you are on vacation most of the time you just want to enjoy your time and not have to decide every day when you want to go and leave your place of stay.
The tent and atmosphere of the place were incredible. We loved the view at night from inside the tent towards the stars. During the night there is a "party" near a fireplace where you will hear the host and his friends play some local music with local instruments. The paid activities are unforgettable. Food is great despite not being able to choose what you want to eat. For dinner, there is always a four-course meal. Despite a heated argument explained bellow the staff were always very friendly.
