Nothing. Highly recommend this hostel to independent travelers. It’s only about 10 minutes from the ferry port.

Everything perfect ! Great location, right inside the Medina but still quiet and safe. Spotless clean! Comfortable bed and curtain for privacy. Bed is sturdy, not shaking. Plenty breakfast. Super great rooftop and common areas. Fast WIFI Friendly polite and helpful staffs.

Clean, comfy, and perfect location! Socco Hostel was a great stay—very clean rooms and bathrooms, and the beds are excellent: private cubicle-style with curtains and plenty of space. The rooftop terrace is a great bonus, and the location is ideal—right in the heart of the old town medina. Highly recommend!

The location is in the medina and close to taxi access. You will find a very nice terrace and view. The overall design of the hostel and the rooms was great. It was also great in terms of hygiene.

We loved this hostel! It is right in the old medina, close to the port and basically everything else. The room was big enough, shower and bathroom was great, it was nice, clean and cozy. They’re doing a really good job!! We fell in love with the rooftop and with having breakfast there. Special thanks to the receptionist Ousama (hope I spelled correctly), for such a nice welcome! Would recommend 100% :))

Warm welcoming reception area, cool murals by local artists on the walls sprinkled throughout, cozy areas to lounge in 4. Right in the heart of Petit Socco and/but it is a quiet calm retreat once in the property 5. Great rooftop terrace with views of the clear blue water where breakfast is served daily

There were only four lockers for a room of six beds so some people didn't have access to one. The bed linen was a little 'bobbly' due to high usage so it was a little scratchy.

Socco Hostel is located in the heart of the old town and the twisting and turning down narrow streets adds to its charm - though it is signposted well. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious with great bathrooms (and nice raindrop showers). There are also plenty of bathrooms and toilets outside the rooms too. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help with queries and requests. Lovely communal spaces on the ground floor and rooftop with a nice breakfast of breads, fruit and spreads every morning. The beds include a socket, reading light, shelf and curtain. Bag storage pre-/post-stay and a great kitchen space.

Ah, Socco! What a vibe from the moment you arrive! Perfect location, comfy beds, everything is spotlessly clean, amazing hot shower, delicious breakfast and most importantly georgous staff, Fatima, Issam and Oussama were just the most beautiful humans and hosts, I was so sad to say goodbye! One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Very comfortable beds with a shelf, light and socket, and of course curtains! En suite bathrooms in the dorms make life much easier, and the lockers are spacious. The rooftop is out of this world anytime of day but especially for breakfast. And the staff… simply wonderful, every one of them.

The rooftop cafe is a little noisy at night, and if you're in a room directly below you can hear the noise even inside your room.

There is inside of Medina, so we can enjoy the atmosphere of that. Walking distance from ferry terminal. Run by a very kind couple.

Excellent location, super clean, comfy bed with curtain for privacy. 4 bed female dorm - enough space + bathroom in the bedroom. Staff very helpful + friendly. Nice breakfast with kick arse good coffee up on the roof top - fab view! Lots of space to hang out around the hostel too, bright + a really good vibe.

I would have preferred it if the bathroom had had a bidet or a health faucet.

I stayed in 5 different hostels over my ten-day trip. This was by far the best of them. The space was beautiful and extremely clean. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. The terrace was awesome. The staff was extremely friendly. If I were to return to Tangier, I would book this place without a second thought.

Breakfast has too much bread, maybe would be better if it had more different things, for example fried eggs or bananas

Everything is new and well taken care of. Every day the staff cleans your bed, super nice :) The best view of Tangier from the shower and waking up with such view is just perfect 😍 Also the hostel is making different interesting events and activities on the terrace.
