I had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for my room to be cleaned, despite being told it would only take 20 minutes. The so-called manager, Hamza, is completely unstable—shouting, swearing, and losing control over something as trivial as taking three pieces of cheese at breakfast. His behavior raises serious concerns about his mental state and ability to manage guests professionally. The towels were dirty, and if you’re staying as a couple, expect to share one because getting a clean replacement on time is nearly impossible. To top it off, the room had an unbearable mix of sweat and other unpleasant odors, making the stay uncomfortable and far from what was promised

I had an incredible experience staying at Sunrise Hostel Taghazout! The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The hostel itself is a gem—clean, cozy, and perfectly located with breathtaking views that are simply unforgettable. The dorm room is 5 beds in a tiny space, one of the least private/comfortable dorms i’ve ever stayed in. There are no curtains on the bed, it’s right next to the front door and they ran out of lockers. The bathrooms are shared (two in the whole place) and pretty dirty. Also there is no signage on the front door so it’s not easy to find.

The manager there is lovely, the free breakfast was great, it’s in a good location in taghazout and there is a nice view from the rooftop

Unfortunately the room we booked (a 3 bed dorm for 3 of us) ended up being a shared 5 bedroom dorm with no door, just a curtain. When we tried to contact the owner he never responded (beware). We ended up having to book a different accommodation and owner wouldn’t refund us for any of the 5 nights we had booked.

Really liked the friendly member of staff that greeted us, the breakfast, and the view from the top of the building. The location is also good.

Great location and wonderful breakfast! Hamza was the best host I have ever experienced. Very hard working, super friendly and helpful. His energy made the stay feel like home. Thank you, i’ll come again! :)

The communication with the owner was very difficult and unfriendly. The person taking care of the property was nice and tried his best to facilitate the exchange with the owner and make up for the lacking replies and help. The pictures are way nicer than the actual place.

Hamsa has just a heart of gold. He is carrying about everyone and is definitely the reason why this hostel is doing well, he always puts others first. Thank you so much hamsa for making the stay so nice and thank you for the cooking 😊. Really love Taghazout

Our experience was quite disappointing! Very dirty hostel, and the reception was very disorganized! My husband and his friends were intended to check-in between 9 and 10 AM, but nothing was ready, and they ended up waiting until 2 PM. The noise from both the staff and other guests made it even worst! Don’t recommend!

The breakfast at the hostel was delightful, a perfect start to the day! The staff was incredibly friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable. And oh, the view from the rooftop was simply breathtaking, one night there but my experience there was just so special ! I Highly recommend this hostel for a memorable stay.
