The bathroom could be improved

The Riad is very beautiful regarding traditional decor with a nice terrace and some comfortable sitting area in each floor. The shared bedroom was quite small and with little ventilation but at least had a plug next to each bed. Not much security as there were no lockers. The bathroom pretty but very small (1,5m2 or less) with no shower curtain so it was a challenge to keep clothes dry and to be able to get dressed without things getting even wetter. Bring your own towel. Staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. Location was great, and not so far from the main square were you can get taxis and ATMs. For the price is was good.

There was another seating area next to our entrance, it had no light, and on our second night, other people came and sat there, at 21.30pm, chatting and smoking, which woke me up.

The hostel was situated in a great location. The manager was very friendly. The room was great, we had a private seating area.

There is exactly 0 sound isolation. You hear absolutely everything inside and outside riad and it makes impossible to sleep at night for people like me. Shower / WC facilities very poor level. Paying ten euros per night of course you can't ask for anything more probably. Also only two places in the room for luggage storage. Didn't provide with key to lock it.

It's a good budget place for short stay. Lovely staff, great location right in the medina, lovely rooftop terrace. Paying ten euros per night you can't ask for anything much better.

The hostel is located in a very strategic location in the Medina. Grocery stores and local markets are a few steps away. The area is relatively quiet. Hosts are very kind!

The showers are integrated in the bathroom so every time you shower, the whole bathroom is flooded.

Nice, clean place in general. The room and bathroom were clean and well-kept. It was within walking distance to major things you would like to do in Tangier. The staff was very accommodating and understanding. Would recommend it..(if you don't have big luggages).

The sheets had a stale smell about them. I suspect that the laundry detergent is not being properly rinsed out, and the sheets aired outside in the fresh air. The top room where I was was stuffy and had little ventilation even with the window and door open. To improve ventilation and comfort, it would be better to remove the single bed completely and, in it's place put the bunk bed. This would certainly improve the airflow and overall comfort

The hostel is excellent value for money. It's in a good location. Bathroom and toilet facilities are also good. However, the images shown on booking.com need updating using natural light.. But it's still a good budget hostel. With excellent staff.

Wasn't much I didn't like

Staff were lovely. Really appreciated the owner think it was, who printed my boarding pass for me. Lovely room (I had the top room with balcony and sea view), good size. Bed was comfortable. Ideal location and even let me leave bags early and late after I checked out. Really liked waking up to acoustic guitar music being played on the terrace. Lovely hospitable people
