Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyOur room was located downstairs which had the consequence that we would hear people entering the riad and people having breakfast in the Common area. However, there was not a lot of movement and Noise since the property is very calm and chill.
The Location is very nice and right next to the market! The Hosts were very nice and everything was clean and neat.

GermanyWe were there in December and the room was a bit cold. You could heat the room with A/C, but it took 30-40 minutes maybe. Lights in the room were not great, just bare lightbulbs - a pair of nice bedisde lamps would make a huge difference.
Super helpful, friendly and honest staff, very good location - just a few minutes from one of the main shopping streets in the Medina and few more form Jema-el-Fna, also good access for cars (maybe 5 mins from the riad), good value for money overall. Breakfast was very good, but not included (8€).

It was small and not any choice and was not included in the price, which we knew prior to booking.

CanadaThere's nothing bad to say about this riad, they were great to us. The alleys you have to go through to get there may look a little sketchy, especially at night, but it is completely safe.
The location is amazing, 3 to 5 minutes walking from the main square and right next to the market, you can go everywhere important walking. The staff was amazing, super friendly, and went above and beyond to help us with several things. The room is nice, clean, and cozy.

MalaysiaRoom was great, comfortable, clean, well equipped. Located near to medina. But a bit tricky to find the riad as it located between the alley. Pay attention to the small signage that is pasted at the wall

United KingdomIt was an experience to have the shower next to the toilet, the drain in one of the rooms did not work properly but they fixed it straight away. The air con is not strong and it does get quite hot in the rooms, but they did provide a fan that helped. Another little nag was the fact that there is no daily cleaning, at least we were not told how we could request this, so we had the same towels and bed sheets for the duration of the stay. There is no wardrobe but a nice coat hanger that served me to hang the long dresses. Lastly, something to bear in mind when booking any riad within the Medina is that some of the small little alleyways do not have lights!!! so be ready to have your phone torch when arriving after dark. We only had a small place where it was very dark and a tad scary because there was no light and that made us a bit uncomfortable but that's pretty much the experience inside the Medina after dark.
What makes this place a real gem is the family, they are so gracious, friendly and very kind. The Riad is nice, comfy and homely. We booked the double rooms, both were comfortable and good size one had a small fridge that can fit two large water bottles. The terrace is nice to sit and rest, there are a lot of sparrows and you will wake up to their sounds. The place felt very secure to leave our items in the room rather than take them with us. Another big plus is the closeness to the Medina, car park, and tour pick-up points, quite easy to navigate after a couple of walks. The place is also small enough that you get to meet other travellers. We had breakfast the first day, which was nice to eat on the terrace, you need to book this the day before and they provide to ensure they have it all set up for you. We enjoyed our stay and totally recommend this place to anyone who want to experience the real Marrakech instead of staying in the resorts. One last recommendation, you can get a 1.5 bottle of water cold for 7 dirams at the small shop by the arch as you turn into the street, On Fridays most of the shops open after 11 am and later so do not leave any last-minute shopping for this day.

United KingdomOur experience at Riad Taziri was pretty good. Mohammed, the attentive host, ensured that every aspect of our stay was impeccable. His hospitality extended to allowing us to leave our luggage while we were going on an excursion to Merzouga. The riad's charming ambiance, characterized by traditional Moroccan architecture and stylish decor, provided a serene escape from the bustling Medina. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent on the rooftop terrace. I recommend this place to stay on your visit to Marrakech.
