Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaThe place is a bit tricky to find and there will be people trying to lead you to the door and ask for money. Don’t be afraid the area is not dangerous. Another thing is that we didn’t understand that the price for the Airport transfer is somehow “fixed” and we thought it was 15 MAD but it turned out to be €15.
Nice family owned riad (typical Moroccan house) with e terrace. The staff was really helpful and kind. The bed was comfortable and big.

LatviaOne of the managers of the hostel, Ali, was the companion of our bike group in Morocco for the whole 10 days and helped to solve various problems, mainly related to accommodation, so we already came to him, not as usual guests, but as good acquaintances. This little hostel is located in the very heart of the old city of Marrakech, and to find it you need to be a good GPS guru or hire one of the guides, because you won't be able to get a taxi to the door. The outside of the hostel is one world, the inside is completely different. The location is very strategically correct, as there are small, quiet streets around, but within a few minutes you are already on one of the liveliest shopping streets. Those people who are looking for exotic, adventure, environment that is shown on TV, then this is the right place. The nervous system must be good when walking down the street, and bargaining is mandatory when shopping, it is a matter of honor here. When we arrived at the hostel, we were treated to tea and cookies, Ali arranged for dinner in a fancy restaurant, a day trip to one of the largest waterfalls in Africa, and transportation to the train station to go back to Spain. The hostel has a roof terrace, the rooms are small and simple, but with interior fireplaces.

GermanyRight at the beginning you are very warmly welcomed at the airport by the pick-up service (Extra Service). When they bring you to the door of the riad, you are very warm welcome of one of the "host". Our hosts were a loving family where many languages are spoken. You will surely find a language in which you can speak with each other. At the end of our stay, we felt not like we were in a hotel, but like we were at home. This is especially due to the hospitality of our hosts. The location is in a side street in the middle of the medina. When you enter the riad, you leave the chaos of the streets and are in an oasis of calm! - Magic- When we come back to Marrakech, we will definitely sleep here again. Thank you for a wonderful time in « our » riad! :)

IsraelBy far the most beautiful and pleasant riad we stayed in in Morocco. The riad is carefully designed and very invested, a space illuminated by natural light and very family and intimate. Clean and polished at the highest level. The owner of the riad and his family are amazing, present and attentive.

HungaryVery kind and welcoming staff, which compensates for the size of the bathroom, which is not large but well equipped, very kind and welcoming staff, which compensates for the size of the bathroom, which is not large but well equipped, although a towel rack would have been nice. Therefore, for the price, an air-conditioned room is totally worth it. It is in a quiet place not far from the market. (5min walk)

Riad is in a fantastic location in the Medina literally 5 mins walk from main square. Our room was spacious the best shower I’ve had in Marrakech with plenty of hot water. Riad super clean and lovely helpful family that run especially the daughter who spoke great English. We had lovely Moroccan breakfast on the roof terrace each morning.

United StatesI got 6 bites but a bed bug and it was disgusting. So I got a very bad sleep and had to leave very early around 6 AM. And even after one day, the bites are still itchy and very uncomfortable. The host apologized to me, so I give a score of 3..
The staff gave me tea and cookies when I checked in, and there is a roof top.

United Kingdom- We were in the ground floor room next to reception so you could hear everything, people taking loudly in the reception at 3am - At one point the owner knocked on our door at midnight and asked us to be quiet which is fair enough and we were then quiet. - However , we were kept awake until various hours of the morning by people talking loudly in the reception, the owner was also talking loudly. Because he previously told us off for being loud , I would have expected him to ask others to be quiet , but he didn’t.
- Great location near to the main square, tourist attractions - Very good price for what you get - Owner was friendly and polite

United KingdomA little noisy as our room was off the main hall. No windows in our room. The terrace is quite small.
Wonderful hosts, very helpful, I found the beds a little firm so they changed the mattresses for us. They also printed our boarding passes and arranged a taxi to the airport. The location is very close to the main square, the WiFi was fast and the shower very good. A very homely place.
