Localization is great, near the port and Medina, from the rooftop you can see the ocean. It is a clean and calm place. There are lockers in the room but you need to remember your own lock. Breakfast was nice and big enough.

The rooms we were given lacked privacy as they were on the ground floor and had windows without glass that had shutters which loosely latched and spilled out onto the lobby. This causes a lot of noise pollution. the rooms are very basic and it's definitely a no frills place. It's very "hidden" down winding Medina alleys and is a bit difficult to find.

The host was super welcoming and kind. We appreciated meeting travelers from all over the place and enjoyed the laidback vibe. When we had travel difficulties and needed to stay an extra night, the hotel was VERY accommodating and made an extra room available for us at a fair rate. We are very grateful for their welcoming hospitality. Breakfast was also great in the morning.

The breakfast is only between 9:30 and 11:00am: this is very late when you want to do something in the morning or leave early. This is the real drawback of this place.

The first night I slept in a double room. I have no good things to say about the mould on the walls and the humidity in the room. It reeked. I also hated the fact that the floor was made out of dusty tiles, because it left my feet dirty 24/7, and it was really cold. A rug would've easily sorted that out. There was also little to no space to store things, and exactly 1 whole clothing hanger. A small table next to the bed with a lamp would've been welcome too. Or maybe a mosquito net, or a proper working fan.. All of those were missing. The days after I switched to a dorm.. The room I was in was SO damn tiny and cramped. You could barely walk in there, because they put 3 bunks in, instead of 2. With 2 bunks at least you'd have some space to put your luggage. The lockers are also very weirdly placed: you can't even properly lock the bottom ones.

I was very happy with the location: right in the heart of the medina. I also loved the staff, since they were super friendly and available for tips & questions always. The overall look of the place is amazing: with small nooks on each floor for people to properly wind down. The rooftop has an amazing view and is lovely to have your breakfast. The house cat is also adorable.

Negatives: - The toilet and shower should be separated by some kind of a plastic curtain or glass panel, to avoid wetting the floor each time someone took a shower. - The locks on the bathroom door are poorly designed. - The bathroom should be equiped with an air freshener, since it is shared by 8 people.

Positives: +The staff are very friendly, welcoming and pleasant. +The location is its biggest advantage. +The terrace has beautiful view especially during the night. +The price is fair and very affordable.

If you take a shower it makes the whole bathroom wet.

The hostel has an amaizing rooftop with a beautiful view, which is perfect to get to know other travellers from the hostel. The breakfast is big and filling (served on the rooftop) I stayed in an only girls, 4 bed room, the other girls were super nice and I felt very comfortable there. Overall it was a great experience for the first days I have ever spent in Morocco.

Some basics still let the hostel down. Not even providing a simple, cheap bar of soap is a pain. As others have noted, late breakfast is also inconvenient - it is advertised at starting at 9.30am but when we were there was provided at more like 9.45am, 9.50am - really late. The rooms are also a little noisy but this often can't be helped in hostels.

Fantastic location; easy to locate on the edge of the medina. Extremely helpful staff. Beautiful building. Bed was very comfortable and bedroom was sufficiently dark to sleep well in (i.e. no light coming in under door, through windows etc). Price was excellent. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Rooftop terrace is lovely. Overall would highly recommend staying - a great hostel experience.

The hostel has good vibes, staff are very friendly and it only takes 5 mins of walking to get to tanger city tours bus which is the best and most affordable way to visit all Tanger wonders specially the ones that are outside the city

The Wifi was very poor, even with the staff's help. I had to cancel my work calls. The room only had one window, which faced into the lobby. The location takes some getting used to, as the old town is a labyrinth.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a great rooftop with excellent views, where you can meet people easily. It's also possible to do laundry.
