It’s a fantastic location at the top of the magnificent pass , it’s basic but in such a location it suits The staff were friendly despite limited French they produced a great Tagine for dinner and lit the fire Breakfast was good with omelette and flatbreads For a group of bikers it was perfect and they had wine and beer !

A unique location at the top of the Tizintest with the most wonderful host. The accommodation is basic but that is to be accepted. It is very clean and the we had one of the best meals of our trip. Highly recommend staying here before descending.

We loved it but if you need a bit of luxury, stop for some pics and food and then keep driving!

The location in the Tizintest pass is amazing. We drove up from the Marrakesh side in bright sunshine and met a spectacular inversion of cloud rolling over the top of the pass within a km of arriving. The hotel. was in thick cloud and the temp dropped by at least 10 degrees Celsius. There was a warm welcome however and we ate good soup and omelettes beside the fire, whilst chatting to other travellers who had driven up from the other side in thick cloud all the way, Don’t expect any luxury here, the rooms are basic and the water in the bathroom didn’t work very well and neither does wifi in the room. However there were plenty of blankets and a gas heater which you need to be careful not to leave on for too long, and definitely not while sleeping. The experience of staying up here in the mountains is special. Our boys were really excited by the whole experience and rated this as one of the top stays on our trip. You’ll meet interesting travellers staying in a location like this and we spent a pleasant evening by the fire chatting, and the boys played chess with other children they met there. Great location for nature lovers and hikers. Tagline in the evening was good, as was the breakfast.

Simple, basic, spacious room had 2 single beds and a double bed. Adequate for me as a solo budget bicycle tourist. Exceptional breakfast (included). Staff were pleasant and helpful. The property, at 2100m, is in a stunning location with mountain views all around. There's a great hike at the property ascending to 2510m with stunning views.

Well, if you're looking for accommodation at the very top of Tizi-n'test, this place is not only your best option, it's really the only option! Other places are in the area, but this is the topmost one. The whole area is still suffering the infrastructure damage from last years' earthquake, and many homes in the area have been destroyed, so it is great that this place is still welcoming guests. The bedroom block is separate from the restaurant building, and just across the car park. No Wifi, occasional mobile signal, and a roaring wood fire await your arrival! Limited menu, but the food is prepared to a great standard, and reasonably priced. Heating in the bedrooms is by way of calor gas heaters, so need to be extinguished before going to bed - but plenty of blankets provided. This place is all about the scenery and location - but the staff make it brilliant.

Cycled here and spent the night with a mixture of fellow travellers hosted by the charming Moustafa and his cat named "Cat" The bed room was basic but the log fire was always burning and the food was good - exactly what you need from a mountain top refuge.

The property is located in the famous Tizi n’Test pass, making it a perfect stay if you also want to hike to the top of the mountain. Besides that, Mustapha is a welcoming owner who opens his heart to you. Having dinner there was such a joy after hours of driving.

Amazing place to stay! Open for business after the earthquake and encouraging visitors. Mustapha was the most brilliant host welcoming us warmly and with a huge smile. The views from the sun terrace are superb! Great tagine for dinner and a wonderful omelette and traditional fare for breakfast. Thank you Mustapha for a wonderful stay!

Heating with gas oven without chimney dangerous. Getting poisened if you don't open the room door. Windows could not be openened. Warm water for shower not reliable available.

Advertised as a HOTEL. We would say it was more a “Mountain hikers hostel”. We booked a "Deluxe room". It was actually very basic

Lovely location. The food served that evening and the friendliness was outstanding. The unsurpassable moment being when we were offered a beer. After the drive we had had that day getting through the pass, it went down marvellously.

Good job we carry our own bedding as the bedding that was provided was extremely suspect. Only gas propane heating in the room so a choice of asphyxiation or freezing to death. We chose 50 x 50
