Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere were 2 bedrooms spread across 4 floors with tons of stairs. We actually didn’t mind at all but it would not be good if you had difficulty climbing stairs. Not all lights and outlets worked. Bathroom was a bit dirty and super super slippery after showering as the entire bathroom got wet when showering - no curtain or door. My son and husband almost slipped and fell in there. Be careful.
Own house across the way from the hotel. Beautiful terrace on top. Neat cozy Moroccan rooms. The house was super cool and cute. There was a kitchen but can’t comment as we didn’t use it for the 2 nights we were there. Great location right in the city.

PolandIn the description, there was supposed to be an air conditioning, and I paid for the room with it. There was a fan. It's not the same. It was just a one night, so I didn't bother to complain about it, but it's a case to consider while booking.
Great place, within the Medina, round the corner. Helpful host. Room pretty clean and made to be - hmm I don't know, kinda stylish or pretend to be old classy. But funny :)

United KingdomRoom could be cleaner. Fix the toilet seat. Fix the power socket & 2nd ceiling light. The stairs killed me. But I am fitter now and knew about them in advance. So no complaints really.
Not tooo far from the outside to carry luggage. But in the old town in a great location. Great view from the roof.

Ireland-the toilet in our room was absolutely disgusting,it wasn't cleaned in a very long time,it had pee all over it and on the floor. -the shower was also disgusting,we didn't showered here it was looking so bad, luckily we stay for one night only. -the floor in our room was also dirty -we had difficulty finding the riad with Google Map coordinates
The interior of the riad it's very beautiful, location is very good also. We had the room on the rooftop which had 2 big terraces with nice views over Chefchaouen. Pitty this beautiful riad is let down by how dirty the rooms and bathrooms are. We paid 37€ for 1 night which was great.

United StatesThe showers were a little annoying because there is no curtain to stop the water from spraying, but that was a minor inconvenience.
The traditional architecture and interior design of the riad is amazing the staff is so nice and attentive. The location is about a 3 minute walk to the main plaza, so it’s really close to the center.

New ZealandAlthough the property can’t do much about this, and we didn’t mind too much, it is quite noisy at night and during the day with the road nearby. If you are a light sleeper perhaps this may not be the place for you.

MyanmarThe pillows could be more comfortable. There was no room to store luggage. It would be nice to have a reading lamp next to the bed instead of one light bulb in the ceiling. There was no option to have hot water for tea, but the tea and coffee could be ordered from a nearby restaurant.
The terrace and the view were exceptional. The front desk staff very polite and accommodating. Feeling safe. The place has charm and character. Interesting decorations. Perfect location. It is a very simple place but charming. Good price for money.
