Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GibraltarI’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times in the last 12 months. It’s well located close by to the main town and old Medina. Rooms are comfy, staff are polite and there’s guarded on street parking. Breakfast is good. There’s restaurants nearby. It’s good value for money.

GibraltarA clean and comfortable hotel. Located near to the seafront and to adjacent restaurants. The sea was clearly visible from the balcony of my room. This was my 3rd stay at this hotel this year, it’s an ideal place to stay if visiting Assilah or before driving to get the ferry at Tangier Med. It’s just a short walk to the Medina or centre of town. There’s a very good fish restaurant nearby. Breakfast is ok with fresh bread baguettes and a varied assortment of different foods available.

MoroccoThe sliding glass door of the bathroom fell off from the top. Thank God I caught it on time and it didn’t fall fully on my head. The only thing they were able to do about it was to take it fully down and I had to shower for two days without the door. The same thing with the bathroom window. They have to fix certain things in the hotel to keep it in good maintenance.
Location is great. A very beautiful scenery from the window. The room is beautifuly decorated with white and blue .The people are very kind . In fact the manager gave me a ride himself to the Taxi station. The breakfast was basic but satisfying.

United KingdomThe advertised pool was empty - but then it was probably too cold. Breakfast was a little 'ordinary' compared with other places we stayed.
A once fine hotel now a little shabby - in a good way. The more people who stay - the faster it will get back up and running again. We were given a room on the top floor overlooking the sea - couldn't have asked for a better view. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the giant teapot in the restaurant Location was great - handy for the medina, and also for the better value new town. Asilah is probably the cleanest town in Morocco! - certainly along the coast

Great location, beautiful views if the sea, easy parking with a guard overnight. Clean which is most important for me as I’m a hygiene manager 👏🙂. Food was great and staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Absolute value for money

GibraltarThis is the third time I stay in this hotel. It’s clean, comfortable and good value for money. Located near the center of town with some rooms having a view of the port. My room was a nice size and I had a balcony. My bed was comfortable and I had a peaceful nights sleep. Bathroom was clean and the shower worked fine. The hotel is located near an excellent fish restaurant. Breakfast was superb with many different food items including a fried egg brought to your table. Parking is on street but they have a night watchman who looks after it, (remember to tip him).

RomaniaThe positioning of the fridge made me see its ugly rear part from the bed. I had to mask it with the curtain. There was no water in the swimming pool.
The bed was really comfortable.

Morocco- There was some construction noise coming from the opposing building, but I guess that will be soon finished.
During my stay I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. - All staff members were super friendly, from the Receptionist, to the Manager, Cooks, and the hotel Maids. - Great location, near the beach and restaurants within a short walking distance

United StatesThe drain did smell a bit, but was easily solved by keeping the sink plug in when I wasn’t using it. It wasn’t a problem, I just thought this would be a good heads up on what to do.
Very conveniently located between the beach and the historic center - both about a five minute walk. Quiet location. Breakfast was substantial.

United KingdomClean, ensuite rooms with fridge and superb sea view - well there was from the front of the 4th floor. I can confirm there was also a swimming pool but it's only filled from May onwards. It was flipping cold at night (I stayed in mid-March) so the extra blankets provided came in handy. Small adequate breakfast was also provided 8:30am onwards.
