Osama and team are really nice and welcoming. The hotel has a nice familiar vibe in the heart of the socco. It might be a bit overwhelming to arrive so I highly recommend to have a SIM card with you so that you don’t get lost. Breakfast and service are really good, the room was very comfortable and overall the energy that this place has is incredible.

Gorgeous Road. Decorated beautifully. Massive and delicious breakfast. Extremely helpful staff. Clean bright and comfortable stay. Location was easy to find and located close to everything. Central cafe is 3 mins....grand soco an uphill walk of 5 mins ...port where taxi drops off a downhill 5 mins. I stayed at end of Ramadan and start of Eid which was fabulous as locals were full of high spirits and ready to chat and super atmosphere. I felt very safe wandering day and evening. Oh and the Road has a rooftop. Also Netflix if you are looking for an early night!!

A bit hard to find. GPS doesn’t work reliably. But the charm and helpfulness of locals is superb.

Wonderful riad in the back alleys of Tangier. The staff went out of their way to assist me with a late arrival. Sumptuous breakfast. Beautiful people. Steep stairs. Nice rooftop for relaxation.

The breakfast was amazing, it just kept on arriving at the table (although I worried about food wastage as we simply couldn't finish everything). Perhaps have a menu card and let guests choose what they would like. The rooftop is a lovely spot in the morning sunshine. The decour and feel of the hotel is exactly what we were looking for in a Moroccan medina hotel. Highly recommended.

When we first checked in we were served mint tea and pastries. What a lovely welcome. The breakfast was unique and delicious served in the beautiful main floor lounge. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The way that riads are built means that only the front wall has external windows. My room was small with no external windows. There were windows onto the central area but not much light came down to the 1st floor so the room was pretty dark.

Located in the medina so lots of interesting pedestrian streets just outside the door. Nicely decorated in local style. Roof terrace is good on a sunny day or warm evening. The staff made a barbecue dinner one night for all guests at no extra cost. Meat, salad, olives, bread, fruit - lots of everything and all of it good. Breakfast was also very big and very good. Staff were helpful and eager to please. Good wifi. Lots of hot water in the shower.

The bathroom is a little crammed but wasn’t a major issue for us.

Very cosy atmosphere. Rasheed and the hosts were very kind, welcoming and helpful. They’re lovely to deal with. The breakfast was exceptional! You won’t go hungry that’s for sure. Aircon in rooms and comfy beds.

The only thing I didn't like was that the shower was in the toilet area. This meant I had to remember to move things like toilet paper out of the area every time I took a shower. There was also not any rails to hang towels up on. A separate shower area would have been better.

The riad itself is very nice and easy to find in the Medina. The staff were fantastic and really made my stay. On the first night I was invited to have a free dinner up on the roof top terrace with the other guests. This was the best welcome I could have received and was a wonderful start to my stay. As a solo traveller I greatly appreciated the warmth, friendliness and hospitality of the hosts. The breakfasts were fine and when I was there (in November) were served downstairs. I also really appreciated that they were very happy to provide me a pot of tea when I returned from my wanderings, and were also happy to serve it on the rooftop terrace. That was another thing that made my stay at Zoco Riad special.

I'm happy that i found this place. Very authentic design and atmosphere. Friendly and super hospitable staff. Many thanks to Rashid for his help and welcome mint tea with very delicious cookies. I really enjoy it! Thanks to Ghizlane for assistance. In this place, you feel yourself as a dear guest. Good breakfasts with amazing view to Media and the ocean. I really enjoyed my time there. And location is amazing - in the heart of Medina! Highly recommend this place and will be happy to come back again!
