Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Excellent hotel in a great location if you want to stay in e quiet zone. I've been several times at this hotel and I’m very satisfied. Very clean and comfortable bed. The owner was very welcoming and willing to help us with anything we needed. Leontina, the reception girl was very welcoming. We really enjoyed Lion hotel and will definitely be back.

The breakfast buffet was very rich, and the local staff was very friendly. The owner/manager himself was present at the property, making sure the guests are satisfied. The pool is well maintained and clean. The parking area is safe and easily accessible.

GermanyThe first day we went, the battery in the shower cabine on our room didn't work and we informed the reception about it, then a person appeared in our room and with a pronounced nervousness he accused us of breaking it, then again with a pronounced nervousness he repaired this battery. After attempting to use the shower we found that it had not been fully repaired and we informed reception again. The TV didn't work at all, so we informed the reception and they told us that they will fix it tomorrow, which is not true at all, during the whole time of our stay they didn't fix the TV. The toilet bowl didn't work and was never fixed. The main door of our room could be opened easily, our door was #28. When I finally asked for the bill upon check out, the person who had partially fixed the shower cabin appeared and introduced his self as the owner of the hotel and issued the invoice for me. I am aware that this hotel has employees who earn their salary and I don't want to jeopardize the hotel's reputation, but I hope that my comments will help the hotel to improve the quality

GermanyThey charged us for drinks that we didn’t use at the minibar and the manager was rude with us. The wifi wasn’t working the first 2 days during our stay. They didn’t have enough at the end of the breakfast hours. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything from outside and other rooms. All the trouble isn’t worth it considering the expensive price. Not welcoming at all!
