We weren't expecting this place to actually be in the mountains but damn, best choice ever. We came by car and the road isn't bad, just lots of curves, you should definitely get a taxi otherwise. The view and the surroundings are amazing, an old unique building with an aesthetic garden. Don't expect an ultra modern accommodation, but it clearly deserves your attention if you want an unique experience. We only stayed a night unfortunately but would clearly come back again, I bet the food is also delicious. And I have to mention how sweet and understanding the staff was.

The location is beautiful, with an amazing view overlooking the sea. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. Meals are not included in the price, but we had dinner and breakfast for an amazing value and were treated to amazing local delicacies, also with very nice vegetarian/vegan options. The accommodation is also pet friendly !

The location is quite hard to reach. It is really up the hill and you have to drive thrue stip narrow road. It was a surprise for us. But you get used to it. 😀

We spent 2 nights here and we felt really welcome. The staff is lovely and helpful. The apartment is basic but it has everything that you need. They clean it every morning, it is good value for the money. Recommend it.

So the location must be mentioned. The turn off from the main road will leave a few km to go, but this is an almost endless series of steep turns. Perfectly driveable, and not unusual for Montenegro. If you are staying a whole week and plan to go out and about this will probably become very annoying, but my advice would be to crank up some tunes and suck it up. This place is WORTH the 10-15 minutes it takes to manoeuvre up and down the hill. The road itself is plenty wide enough by Montenegro standards, and has some great views.

It’s just brilliant. Super charming, great people, great food. Sergio and his family have been here for hundreds of years, and this place will be going strong well into the future. You may be asked if you want meat or fish for dinner. Do not be fooled by the simplicity of this. Ask for fish, and you have a fantastic 5 course feast of traditional Montenegrin treats whilst Sergio grills fresh bass in the garden in front of you. The only rule they have is tell us what we can do to help, and they mean it, because they genuinely care. Hosts can speak very good English.
