Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing to dislike. It's not a luxury hotel, but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - and very good value.
The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful, wild nature. Marco and all the hotel staff went out of their way to ensure I had an unforgettable visit, kindly arranging a couple of private tours to mountain lakes. The main road to Durmitor National Park was closed during my stay due to prior flooding, but it was still possible to vsit Mirror Lake and Biogradska National Park. On other days, I was more than happy to drink coffee and read in the sun, enjoying the amazing forrested mountain views and the sight and sounds of Tara Springs roaring below. I had a wonderful, unforgettable, week in the Montenegran mountains and look forward to my next visit.

MontenegroThe people working in this hotel are incredibly nice. The room is minimalistic yet clean and spacious. Beautiful location, on the way from Biogradska gora to Durmitor. Peaceful and quiet. Good restaurant. There were some road works nearby, and the staff were very helpful about it, they sent us all the information via Booking, and even called the road maintenance to check if the road was open.

FranceWe arrived in the middle of a huge cloudburst with more bad weather later and did not enjoy the many opportunities such as rafting, canyoning (that would have been impossible) and hiking (that would have been dangerous).
Hotel Ravnjak is located between Gronja Dobrelovina and Bistrica high up on the slopes of the Tara Gorge, next to a magically lovely side green side valley and right next to a natural spring. The natural environment is exquisitely beautiful. Hotel Ravnjak used to be, in Yugoslav days, a government hunting lodge used by Marshal Tito. It comprises a main building with the restaurant and six rooms, and two annexes with more rooms. We stayed in the annex. The rooms are small and simple but clean and new and equipped with everything one needs. We had dinner at the restaurant - there is nothing else in the wide vicinity ! The restaurant caters simple and straightforward dishes, some are great : try the stews for example ! They have nice wine from Montenegro, we tried the Krstac. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

United KingdomThe nearest ATM to the property is approx 20-25 min drive away - so be sure to have cash with you upon arrival so you can book some fun activities as the locals only take cash.
This is a great base to stay among the forests and undertake the many activities and sports you can do in Montenegro. The staff were the nicest we came across in the country, very helpful and happy to arrange activities for you through their contacts but never pushy or try to sell them to you. It has a restaurant and bar which look over a big rocky stream which flows through the grounds. Food was delicious. The bar has log cabin vibe! Very peaceful location.

United KingdomDue to the location of this property, there are many bugs. This is not a problem inside the hotel as the standards of cleanliness are great, however it’s something to be aware of prior to going.
Myself and 3 friends travelled to this hotel from Glasgow, Scotland, and I’m glad to say it was worth it. I loved the beauty of this property. The rooms were simple, yet effective. The beds were clean and comfortable, fans were provided in the room, fresh towels given every morning. There was information in the rooms about local activities and hikes to do. WiFi signal was great. The breakfast every morning was fantastic. The menu had great choice considering how remote the property is and the food was lovely. We also had dinner in the hotel every night which again was great. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is above a beautiful river with views of mountains, with areas in the sun and in the shade. Furthermore, the hosts were great. The evening and morning host both spoke great English. Both were able to advise us which hikes to go on and how to get there, as well as beautiful areas nearby to spend time in the sun. The hotel was very accommodating with helping us get transport to and from different areas of Durmitor National Park, as well as to and from the bus station, which helped keep our experience stress free.
