We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyI was very satisfied with the hotel. Our room was quite sufficient and the bathroom was ideal. The room had a sea view, which was a lovely bonus. The staff were friendly and attentive. When the room felt a bit cold, they quickly provided an extra heater. Breakfast was served as an open buffet; it was varied and tasty. There are both indoor and seaside outdoor areas available for breakfast. The hotel also has a swimming pool, though it wasn’t open yet due to the weather conditions. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would consider coming back during the summer months.

United StatesWas disappointed in the breakfast the first day, but it was significantly better the next day. Also, the gym was not available since the hotel was hosting a wedding and they had moved all the pool furniture to the gym, so I was not able to use it during my stay. The exterior of the property was nice, but the rooms could use some remodeling.
The staff with the exception of one in the breakfast area were all v nice and v helpful! The location was v nice right on the bay and about 10-minute drive to Kotor. Since, we had a car this was not bad at all. We also received advise about where to park...just before Kotor and it was perfect! Shower pressure was excellent!

SwitzerlandNot a great place to be in bad weather as there's absolutely nothing to do in the vicinity of the hotel. In addition, the hotel doesn't have a comfy lounge in which to relax - just seating in the corridors and reception area.
Friendly, informative welcome upon arrival. Only there for 2 nights but the weather was terrible so no hope of enjoying the pool and beach areas. Buffet breakfast with good coffee. Had an economy room which was fine. If you choose not to have dinner at the hotel, as we did, there is a hotel/restaurant opposite and other restaurants just before the village of Prcanj which is about a 25 min. walk with no pavement. The local Blue Line Tivat/Kotor bus stops right in front of the hotel. To travel into Kotor the bus is scheduled at 30 mins past the hour from in front of the hotel. No stop, just flag down the bus. They're often late and due to traffic, it took us 25 mins. to get to Kotor.

AzerbaijanThere is no bad thing about the hotel, But I want to tell this too. It is 1 hour way to Kotor by walk, buses do not come in time at all. You can order taxi, but there is no app for it, you have to call, or you can ask reception, and they will order a taxi for you.
Room was okay (despite sockets were old), but pool was great. Location is little bit far from Kotor, but it was great too. We went to the south (Kotor) and to the north (there were interesting buildings and great restaurants) from there by foot. Breakfast was included and it was good. We have tried the restaurant working inside the hotel, they have delicious meals, and there is a great view of port.

United StatesThis is a lovely hotel just around the corner from Kotor town. The room was spacious with a great view of the water and mountains. Great breakfast and patio area - it would be great to enjoy the pool and sea swimming area in warmer weather. There is a small parking area so convenient for those traveling by car. The room is very simple but has everything you would need.

United KingdomOne day all the pool loungers were taken and we wanted to eat a pizza but the staff said we couldn’t eat it in the restaurant area, you had to sit in specific places to get food/drinks which we found extremely weird as it all came from the same kitchen. Breakfast wasn’t great. They also put a 10% charge on everything you order even if you go up and get it yourself. The pool bar is a bit of a shambles. The person in charge was never there and ran out of cold drinks most days.
Very cute looking hotel, the receptionist when we checked in was lovely and even upgraded us. The location was perfect with its own private beach. Food was delicious!

United StatesAs I mentioned above, we had some ants taken care of, but by the next morning, we noticed 3 or 4 more ants. There appears to be some problem in that room. Also, we noticed 2 contact lenses on the floor, near the foot of the bed. Not sure how this was missed in room cleaning. The bed was not very comfortable, the mattress seemed old with a lot of give. While the room had a nice view, in the evening the room seems rather grim. As others have mentioned, the rooms could use some updating/decorating. Upon check-in, front desk staff said that they had a restaurant that was open until 22:00 or 23:00. It was around 16:30 and we were starving after a 4 hour drive. When I asked for a table for 2, the person there seemed surprised and said dinner was at 18:00. I said oh sorry, we can come back later, and he said no sit down its ok. So a waitress eventually came over and asked what we wanted. I said "We were hoping to get a bite to eat, snack food or something?". "Sure, what do you want?" I was surprised and said "Do you have a menu?" She says of course and gives me one, but it appears to be the full dinner menu. Now I feel guilty because clearly they are not expecting to cook for people. My wife and I try to get the easiest things, noodles and a caesar salad. Only later did I find out that at the pool bar, they had a snack food menu! If I had known, I would not have bothered the restaurant personnel. Perhaps they told me this during check-in and I missed it? Anyway, they should let people know that the restaurant is essentially closed between lunch and dinner. Not many choices for food that don't involve white-knuckling a drive on the narrow road, or paying for a taxi.
The location and the pool/beach area is fantastic. Really stunning views, private sea access. This is what makes the value for money good, as it is not terribly expensive. However, this is made up for in other ways, like the rooms. Front desk staff was very helpful in calling taxis for me, and even helped me call a pharmacy and ask a question about medication. The man that helped take our bags to our room, whose name I forget, was super friendly, and told me to let him know if we had any issues, he would help right away. He did, as we noticed some ants in the bathroom and part of the bedroom and he immediately got someone from housekeeping to attend to the problem. Our room had a window with a lovely view of the bay.

United KingdomI would suggest labelling of some of the food at breakfast, would be useful to know content for allergies/food intolerances. The pool side bar area was not always open and one of the staff was not very helpful. Maybe the bar could be advertised as open between 11-4 or similar so guests are aware.
Pool well maintained Breakfast varied Reception team very helpful and recommended a lovely restaurant in Kotor, also ordered us two taxis which arrived promptly. The young lad at pool side was extremely eager to please and helpful when additional towels were requested.

TurkeyThe only aspect I did not like is that the hotel charges 2 EUR for towels to be used at the pool, which is not a common practice. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant is generally expensive.
The hotel is located in a fantastic spot. I visit here every year and stay for at least two days. The breakfast is quite sufficient and nice. While the rooms are a bit outdated, they are comfortable.

United KingdomRooms were a little dated, particularly bathrooms. Still completely functional and clean but not top end. No complaints though.
Such a beautiful location. Our first night in Montenegro and the drive round the bay to the hotel from Kotor (10 mins) was stunning (make sure you have a small car). The hotel is right on the water's edge, so you're almost getting your feet wet at dinner on the jetty. The salt water pool was great and there is a cordoned off swimming area into the sea, so plenty of options for swimming (also saw signs for kayak/SUP rental). We initially found ourselves in a room with two single beds (apparently booking.com doesn't specify when you book), but the receptionist quickly found another (bigger) room with a double.

United KingdomWe did have some mould around the air conditioning unit and flies in the night light. However the receptionist immediately offered to change our room. It’s a shame we were then downgraded to a smaller room the following day by the next receptionist. The second room had no mattress protector covers which was odd as the first room did. And also there was a rip/marks in the mattress more like bleach but I would of liked a mattress protector maybe an oversight of housekeeping as hotel was spotless. I was quite upset when I asked the pool bar man (black hat) if he could chase up our pizza as we had waited 30 minutes. Rather than apologising he stated I had only been waiting 15. The time was on the receipt ! His response clearly shows he needs customer service training.
Loved the pool, beautiful ambience, comfortable beds. Very welcoming helpful reception ladies. Great a short walk to other restaurants along the waters edge. Should be upgraded to 4|5*
