The access road from Virpazar is not the best (not the fault of the hosts!).

The location of the property was lovely and the hosts were very friendly. The breakfasts and dinners were amazing - beautifully cooked and extremely generous. The studio itself was fairly basic but very clean and very good value. There was a balcony to sit and enjoy the view and have the odd glass of wine!

Great location just a few km from the bustling Virpazar and Lake Skadar. From the welcoming communication from Marko on booking to the welcome from Tatjana on arrival and her delicious and generous dinner and breakfast everything was great and highly recommended.

It was a little further out from Virpazar than what we were expecting (4km). A slight odour from the bathroom. The food hygiene standards leave a little to be desired.

A lovely apartment on a small winery. Hot shower. Good beds. Excellent hosts. A good range of satellite TV channels. The home cooked meals (dinner and breakfast) were excellent. This apartment is a little gem!

While traveling through Montenegro, we spent two days by Lake Skadar at Tamara's place. The rooms were fantastic, with hotel-like standards, air conditioning, and very quiet. The bathroom was excellent, well-equipped with all the amenities you could need. Tamara also prepares meals upon request, and I highly recommend both her dinner and breakfast. The location itself is outstanding – fig trees and small vineyards are everywhere, with small plots of land filled with vines. It feels a bit like being in Tuscany, a bit like Georgia, with everything buzzing with life. For those looking for a new atmosphere, but who also enjoy regions like Tuscany or Georgia, this is an excellent choice. Whether you want a peaceful stay without moving around, or to use it as a base to explore around Lake Skadar, it’s a great option.

Our little studio on this winery was so cute! It had what we needed in the room. There was also some coffee in the room for the morning. The vineyard is adorable and the staff (the family) are incredibly kind and sweet.

We loved everything and were just bummed we had only booked it for one night! The room was spacious and clean, well-equipped (bathroom, tv, night stands,…), and dinner was delicious! Thank you so much to Marco and his mother for making it unforgettable!

Absolutely nothing!

Absolutely beautiful location on the winery, stunning scenery and utterly peaceful. Tatiana our host was so welcoming, and dinner and breakfast were superb, the best food we ate throughout our holiday! The room was comfortable and spacious.

Can't think of anything!

Clean and comfy rooms at a great location. The views are beautiful and everything happens at a very relaxed pace. Best value for money I have ever seen I think. You can eat dinner and breakfast at the hotel which is absolutely wonderful, the hostess is an amazing cook. 20 euro for dinner including aperitif, wine, starter main course and dessert is worth it thousand times over. Better than any restaurant I've been to in Montenegro!

The room was described as having a kitchenette. All that was provided, however, was a fridge, kettle and sachets of instant coffee. We were expecting to be able to prepare simple meals but there were no facilities and we had to incur the costs if eating out.

Large spotless room with good a/c and a small balcony only area overlooking the vineyard. Lovely quiet location but only a 5 min drive from Virpazar. We took dinner on the first night which was excellent and enormous.

One small thing: no window or ventilation in bathroom so smells linger! Not a problem for us but the only small thing we thought could have been better.

Tatiana (the grandmother) made us feel very welcome. Her cherry liquer is amazing! Homemade food which was delicious and a lot of variety. The red wine was also very good!

Superb homestay at a local winery. Marko was excellent at communicating prior to arrival and Tatiana made us feel so welcome and right at home. We enjoyed homemade liquer and fresh figs from the tree on arrival to welcome us. The room was lovely and clean with a hot shower, comfy bed and cool Aircon. The little seats on the balcony were perfect to enjoy an early morning coffee (or an evening wine) and watch the beautiful scenery. We spent hours watching a swallow feed her babies in the nest right above our door! Tatiana offers home cooked meals for an additional price and they are 100000% worth it. She is an excellent cook, the 3 course meal along with aperitifs and a paired wine from their vineyard are the best meals we have had in our stay in the Balkans! The wine is delicious and magic as no matter how much we drank we woke up with clear heads the next day.

Tatiana and her husband were so kind to us when we turned up early with food poisoning, allowing us to check in early and bringing snacks. The meal we had prepared was excellent, we are just sad we were too sick to enjoy it more. The views are beautiful and we really want to come back one day

The room was a little bit tight (we where 4 guests). The rooms are located in the host backyard, which affects the privacy of both sides.

The host was very kind and warm. They cooked us a wonderful dinner, including a full gluten-free menu.

Location is remote, but easy to access with a car- we liked the area a lot, as one could have an evening stroll through the fields. The owners are are very kind and had a lot of toys for our kid. Breakfast and dinner was offered, food was great and a lot! The room was nice and clean.

An amazing experience! Marko gave useful instructions prior to arrival, allowing for a smooth transition. On arrival, Tatiana and family were so welcoming! We were made to feel extremely at home and it set us at ease immediately. The seating outside of the rooms offers so stunning views of the local scenery and the rooms themselves were of good quality. The food at Kalimut is incredible! A brilliant spread of authentic, home cooked food - a very handsome portion size indeed with lots of delicious wine to boot. A simply lovely place to stay. Parking on site is easy also if you are driving. All in all, excellent value for money!

A beautiful location, the room had everything I needed and more. The food was delicious and the family that run it are very very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend it. It's a 3km (easy) walk to the centre of Virpazar, just to be aware if booking without a car. This wasn't a problem for me and part of what I enjoyed about my stay.
