Great place to use as a base to explore both sides of the island. Simple hostel but very friendly staff. Lots of places to buy food and groceries within walking distance. Fifteen-minute walk from public buses and ferry terminal.

Communal areas a little dirty (bedrooms super clean though).

The patio was so beautiful, lots of places to sit including a hammock! I spent a lot of time out there and it was so restful. Lots of boats to watch and can swim off the dock too. Jessica and Michael were so lovely, and both helped me with my trip by introducing me to people they knew that might be able to help me! So kind, and Jessica also gave me lots of advice about the local area and was looking out for me <3 thank you guys!

Mosquitos and chain smokers.

A great and convenient place to stay in St Martin, a 12-minute walk from the center of Marigot and buses to all points of the island. Small but clean room, no ac but powerful fans made ac unnecessary. Right by the canal, you see boats and dinghies passing. A little supermarket over the bridge and many options to eat within walking distance. Perfect for budget travelers.

Mike and the rest of the staff are such great people. The location right on the canal with outside seating is lovely. Beds are comfortable, and both kitchen and shower works great. Highly recommended.

I liked everything!

Great terrace where you can dive straight into the water. Spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen with a big fridge, hot showers, 10-15min walk to downtown Marigot.

It was pretty hot, I was so used to airconditioning, that I had to get adjusted again. You have a fan but it Cools down slowly.

Location is super nice, walking distance to the centre of Marigot but also very quiet next to the water.

The wifi wasn't strong and would come and go.

The owner Mike was very nice and friendly. The location is good on the French side and you see boats go by along the bay. It was a peaceful and quiet place to rest. Walking distance from Marigot market.

We had problems with an old long haired guest, who is a moron. This is no a problem of the owner of the hotel, but someone robbed our food from the fridge

Good internet and the view is amazing. Michael, the owner, is a good guy with two lovely rescued dogs, bony and Clyde. I guess the hostel is a little expensive but... It's saint Martin, this is probably the only hostel in the island

My room didn't face the water and was about 2 degrees warmer inside than outside, so I needed a fan to sleep through the night. Plus, the room had a strong smell - which I wasn't able to figure - but it's very similar to the smell of my family beach house 30 years ago... I got used to it 2 min after I entered the room, but everytime I left and came back, I was reminded of this smell.

I loved the price, the cleanliness and the courtesy of the staff. It's nice that it is by the water so we can see the boats passing, and also chill at night. It is a 15 min walk from Marigot downtown where I could find great restaurants. The room was suitable for me travelling alone, and it was clean.

Located in Sandy Ground, near the drawbridge.About a mile south west of Marigot, which is reachable with a 10 /15 min walk .Basic Rooms/cabinets with fans and shared batrhoom ,right on the water, Laundry service is a plus.Nice and clean Michael and his staff are very friendly and heplful, always up for a chat on the Patio, dogs are cool guardians Good quality/price ratio, Love the sailors' vibe :)

I could hear some sounds from the other rooms

The friendliness and the location. Being near downtown Marigot and directly on the water where I could sit and enjoy the lovely view and breeze, or jump in for a swim. The place is very friendly and has many sailboat crew with excellent travel stories, as does the owner Michael who has sailed and travelled for years. The Manager also adds to the friendly international vibe of the place. It is backpacker/traveller paradise, with the benefit of having your own room.

Moldy small room with no fresh air. Bathroom was stinky.

Kind owners. Good advice about taking a bus instead of taxi. Nice deck where you can snorkel.
