Personally, from the visitors perspective, I'd request, or made a home rule that all the footwear, shoes be left outside the perimeter where visitors sleep. It's summer time now, and you cannot ignore the smell from people shoes, leaving outside or near their bed...which means, within the perimeter where all visitors sleep.

Location-very Central Bed- double bunk bed is all you need after a busy day in Skopje, or long night in the vibrant night pubs Staff,-very friendly and willing to help with any question, be it for the city Hotspots or even the exchange rates on the local currency. Tea in particular was the lady i spoke to, and was indeed very professional above all else.

The showers and toilets are not very clean, most probably because of the guests but needs further checks.

The location is so good, close to the bus station 10 min walking, the bazar, the stuff we’re so helpful and nice and the beds were comfy.

Unfortunately, hygiene is terrible here. In the corner next to the stairs that lead to the female dormitories, there were dead cockroaches and a lot of dust/dirt. The female bathrooms/showers didn’t look/smell/seem clean enough. Some bathroom doors had strange, brown colored stains on them and all the locks were kind of dodgy and hard to lock. The spaces between the mattresses and the “walls” are clearly not cleaned properly as dust/dirt/objects are visible. The drawers underneath the beds are clearly not cleaned properly, also saw a lot of dirt/dust there. Also, the floor itself doesn’t seem to be vacuumed very often or at all. The little kitchenette in the shared living area is in terrible condition, especially the sink… Very visible, strange stains on the sofas and chairs. The water machines look poorly cleaned with brown stains around the trays where the water is collected. The dormitories are on the basement floor and there is a very strong stench of humidity and “old things”, especially around the bathrooms and in the corridors. At least in the female bathrooms, the smell was at times unbearable and uncomfortable to deal with. Also, finding the hostel is impossible without having to ask someone where it is. The hostel has no sign outside and is located on the bottom floor of a hotel with another name. Me and my friend only figured out where the hostel was because we had to ask the lady at the reception, who then informed us they had started doing renovations and removed the signs. On the inside, there are a lot of clear indications, but it would be more helpful to have at least one sign outside…

the hostel is great value for money and the price they offered the bed, no complain about anything. the dormitary is huge when i visited it was less crowded.

the hostel is in perfect location with huge facilities and open area for hangout, the staff are very friendly and they go extra mile to explain all necessary doubts . both Elena and Thea helped me with sorting my Albania Travel Plans , bus routes and local site seeing, the restrooms are well maintained . the open dormitary is huge and design of curtains help with privacy with enough storage space to keep the items.

The only minor annoyance was the manager occasionally approaching guests at night to inquire about their satisfaction. Nevertheless, I would still recommend this hotel for a short-term stay in Skopje.

The cleanliness was impeccable, with fresh bed sheets and blankets that made me feel instantly at ease. The bed provided the perfect level of comfort and privacy, ensuring a restful sleep. The hotel's amazing location, just a stone's throw away from the city center, made exploring the vibrant city incredibly convenient. The workers were outstanding, always ready to assist with a smile and make the stay as comfortable as possible. The availability of hot water in the shower was a welcome touch, and the air-conditioning system worked flawlessly, keeping the dorm pleasantly cool. This hotel truly offered the ideal setting for a short-term stay in Skopje, providing a clean, convenient, and welcoming environment.

Had to walk up and down stairs for bathroom Showers erratic Lights cut out after few seconds No kitchen just kettle and water cooler Had to ask for plastic cups. Microwave didn't work Sink filthy Poor ventilation in room no air con so could get really hot but in windowless basement Broken stairs

The place did not seem to be properly ventilated, since the rooms are on the -1 floor. It was very stuffy during the night. The worst impression was left by the condition of showers and toilets. I have not seen them cleaned at all during the two nights, and some toilets were not flushing and had no toilet paper. The smell there was horrible, not possible to tolerate without holding breath

The location is great, very close to the old bazaar and nice cafes. I also liked the fact that at least some privacy can be enjoyed thanks to the curtains. The best highlight was the cat that used to hang around

there were almost 100 beds in the room.. bathrooms were very dirty and they dont clean it daily.. so many people using them.. i saw cleaning ladies changing bed sheets on the dirty floor.. beds had yellow spots on them.. i dont recommend to anyone

The location is great, staff is very kind and you are provided a real and cosy blanket. It's compromised but good to sleep. The price/performance ratio is perfect.

I wanted Macedonian denars, but they kept saying they didn't have any to exchange with me. I think they were lying and just trying to push us to ATMs and Currency Exchangers to drain more of our money into Skopje's economy.
