Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyThe gentleman who did my check in was just amazing, Ronald, I hope I remember his name right, he gave me an amazing first impression of the hotel, he was professional and very nice, he answered all my questions and made me feel welcomed. I chose Altira to watch the fireworks on the evening of Lantern Festival. The view from the room was just perfect. The show was magical. The room was spacious and beautiful.

Hong KongReally good value 5-star hotel in Taipa (if you don't mind not being on the Strip). Rooms are huge and modern, pool and health club facilities are fantastic, and staff were super helpful. Part of City of Dreams/Studio City group, so there are free shuttle buses to those casinos, and Taipa Village, which has lots of cute old school restaurants, is about 15 mins walk away.

AustraliaThe room service food is highly expensive, $40 AUD for a small plate of pasta and $80 AUD for a rice dish. Although, it should be noted that these dishes are from high end (5 star and michelin) restaurants in the hotel. This wasn’t a huge deal, as there was a shopping centre that was a 5 minute walk away.
The staff was extremely helpful and happy to do so. They could also communicate in English efficiently. The facilities was large, clean and aesthetic. The pool had washrooms that includes saunas, hot tubs, showers, toilets and an area to get ready (which was stocked with utilities). The rooms was also extremely spacious with a city view. Overall, it’s worth staying at for the relaxing sensations and high end treatment.

SingaporeThe view of the room is excellent, I would say one of the best in the Macau hotel, just sitting on the sofa overlooking Macau city is a wonderful experience. If you don't like the hotel food, you can find many local restaurants within walking distance around the hotel, and a 7-Eleven convenient stall is situated nearby.

AustraliaHaving to go up to the 38th floor in order to cross reception to the other elevators to then go down to ground level. Very frustrating every time we came in or out of the hotel.
One of the best hotel rooms that I've stayed in. King Suit with ocean view. Incredible bathroom with hot tub, King Bed, Couch and massive TV. The SPA and Pool area were perfect for relaxing, with Sauna, Hot Tub and Steam Room in the Males Change rooms. Great customer service with towels and any support that you require. Restaurants looked fantastic though we didn't end up eating there. We did order room service and it was fast and great quality.

United KingdomEverything was great.
Staff were fantastic - especially the young lady who checked us in but the bar staff were also great. The room was clean, comfortable, massive and had a great view. The bed was huge and the free drinks in the minibar are a really nice touch. The hotel is an easy walk to lots of restaurants and bars and a short taxi ride from the colonial old town and the Strip.

Hong KongNo shuttle bus from pier to hotel. Need to take taxi to the hotel.
The rooms are huge and comfortable with sea view. The toilet is big with a big bath tub. We can enjoy the bubble bath there. The swimming pool is heated. You can listen to the music while you are swimming. Because you can listen to music through the water. I was flattered. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. I will come back for sure.
