Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Some things could do with refurbishing e.g. curtains and blinds which have wear and tear, grouting on the tub needs replaced. We struggled with communicating with staff as many did not speak English, so come prepared to use a translator app to make your life easier. It's fairly removed from central attractions but easy enough to get places. Taxis are always outside and are cheap in Macau (again, translate your address to Chinese to show them). Our highlight was the walk up to the Guia Lighthouse which you can see from the hotel!

no bidet in the bathroom
Huge room and complimentary bottled waters everyday. Comfortable bed and location is very close to bus stops. Convenient to commute and lots of local restaurants nearby.

Breakfast was poor quality and not good value for money. Temperature in the hotel was too cold on the corridors with AC on very strong. The reception service was quite slow at both check-in and check out. The bathroom was a disaster. Every time I used the shower, regardless of using the curtain/screen, the bathroom floor flooded.
Location was near the outer harbour so walking distance to the ferry for HK. Was able to check in early as the room was ready. Tea making facilities in the room. Cleaning staff very kind and efficient. Swimming pool was great and open until 9pm. Gym was fairly well equipped but I didnt use it. Reliable WiFi. Many nearby cafes and grocery stores.

The casino don’t have jackpot machine 😂
It is near the Macau harbour. Just across has a nice Hong Kong style cafe with affordable price! Hotel room has a mountain view. If I ever go again will go hiking at the mountain.

The hotel is a bit dated so maybe could have been slightly cheaper per night & Wi-Fi was poor in the room.

Safer is not working. Shuttle bus can be arranged a bit earlier. It begins only after 11:30am but check out time is 11:00am
Housekeeping staff are helpful and friendly. Room is clean and bed is soft Comfort swimming pool. Location is not exact central but convenience.

The hotel is five minutes walk from the ferry terminal. In this regard it is quite convenient as you do not need to call a cab and can just walk. I did not get a chance to check out the facilities for the most part, but the room is okay, the bed is comfortable. Macau hotels can be quite expensive so I guess the price for this hotel is reasonable.

- quite long check out, up to 15 mins at the check-out time (around 11-12 o clock) - 1000 HKD (or MOP) deposit for non-smoking rooms - short opening hours of swimming pool, until I guess 7pm only? I couldn't manage to use swimming pool due to it :(
- kind staff - very comfortable beds - very spacious rooms, really surprised after visiting Hong Kong - my room had bathtub - small bottles of shampoo and shower gel and even one-time shaving kit available, besides, there was kettle and hairdryer too

Some things are too old to be kept. The rubber foot pad in the shower for example is terribly mouldy. For $1000 local currency a night, I’d like to think that I deserve my own new rubber pad, which perhaps costs only $20.
