Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandNothing bad to say. If I’d add something the hotel room could have a mini frigde.
Brilliant service and the staff were keen to help at all times. Room was clean and overall very good looking. Architecture was beautiful everywhere in the hotel. A balcony with chairs was nice. The location is right next to the Macau ferry terminal (outer), but little further from the historical town.

SpainThe hotel night is a bit short, check-in at 3 pm check out at 11 am.
The room we stayed in was spacious and very clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The pool was closed for deep cleaning and they kept us informed immediately when it was re- opened so we could use it.

United StatesFurniture is rather cheaply made (handles pulled out of drawers). Sea view is mediocre, but that's not the hotel's fault. Not worth paying extra for though.
Very convenient location to ferry pier. Very helpful service staff (for instance, was able to store our bag while traveling around Macau before check-in / after check=out. Comfortable bed.

MalaysiaIt will be perfect if shuttle bus service is provided.
Spacious room and clean. The room with sea view and it is nice. The staff from reception and concierge are very friendly and helpful. She helped to call the taxi during the rainy day. Location closed to fisherman's wharf, about 3 to 5 minutes walking distance. The gym room is quite good.

PhilippinesIt was far from the other must visit areas like Taipa, Coloane, and Cotai Strip. Also it was raining which made it more difficult for us and we ended up missing some of our plans. It would also be better if the whole staff will be trained to understand or speak a little English esp those that essential to their job roles like giving out directions, understanding words like food, toiletries, towels, etc. I understand that travelers have to adjust with the culture but this country is now a tourist attraction. Better yet make every experience better with communication. They clean the rooms everyday so be prepared to be surprised that your room si already clean after a long day of tour. Do not worry, your valuables will remain secure. It may be a long shot but probably you can consider building or designing some rooms to be matching with the theme in the fisherman’s wharf. That would be so cool. The way inside the hotel connecting to the Fisherman’s Wharf is the best way to go but could use more fun stuff. It was still abit empty. It was a bit sad (not the hotel’s fault) that we didn’t get to enjoy the swimming pool area because it was closed due to the typhoon.
The property is very close to the fisherman’s wharf, 5 min walk to Sands Hotel and 10 min walk to the macau grand prix museum. The staff was friendly.. all of them, esp “Ste” aka “Matistella” and the Filipino guy in black coat (i forgot his name). They both made our stay a bit easier because of the language barrier we has. Esp kuya because he showed us a better way to get to Sands hotel without spending our Patacas left. Also, the receptionist when we checked in. She was really nice. Although we had a bit struggle communicating because of the language barrier, she made it a point that we got the best service. Initially the room we had was a deluxe room. Room was so good with a great view. However, it smelled like cigarettes so we reported to the receptionist with the intentions of just making sure we do not get fined for it. Then to our surprise they upgraded our room for the inconvenience. She was so nice to do that for us. The service is exceptional. We will come back with our family and friends. Room- the design and fixtures made it look a very expensive hotel. The design looks so royal and elegant. Complete facilities like iron, ironing board, humidifier which can also be used for drying clothes, bath tub for the royal experience, and the staff that would treat you like royalties.

NetherlandsNo shuttle bus from the ferry port, so we had to walk a few 100 meters with heavy luggage. Breakfast could be grander for such a hotel.
Bang for buck this place, great hotels, giant room and very luxurious for the price. Location not the best in town but we got around. The pool was good, refreshing and clean, everything like towels and slippers were provided. No swimming cap necessary.

South AfricaThe location is a bit far away from the popular areas, like the Venetian. If you want a quiet and peaceful stay, this might be the place. The casino is the absolute worst compared to other casinos in Macao. The spa is extremely expensive. My husband and I were interested in getting a 60 mins foot massage, but price was around MOP$1,500. We paid extra for the city view, but was honestly the worst view I’ve had.
The bathroom was my favorite! I enjoyed the bathtub and the amenities provided.
