Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsSuch a large hotel must be difficult to manage. I expected at least the room type booked would be assigned. I booked Cotai view, willing to pay extra for it. I was however given a room overlooking the parking lot for the touring cars. While they fixed it by arranging another room, it did take half an hour to get the new key, and then another half hour to move over and settle in. For a one night stay that’s quite precious time wasted. The new room didn’t have slippers, only the bands of two pairs of slippers could be found in the wardrobe, so it was another call and wait for slippers. For me a five star hotel should do better.
The location is very central and it has connecting bridges to The Parisian and The Londoner.

RussiaThe hotel is very large because of this there are huge queues for check-ins and robotic responses from the staff. Everywhere there are groups of tourists walking around the hotel on excursions. It's like living in a big market.

SingaporeWe requested for a non-smoking room, they gave us a smoking room and my daughter developed rashes due allergies. They changed a room for us in the next day after many attempts for changing room. However, my daughter had to suffer for the itchiness for days.

BruneiToo crowded, not too value for money. Had a poor experience at this hotel. They didn’t inform the guests that we need to book very early in advance if we need any transfer to the airport, I eventually missed my flight. Beware of this, as they are very busy, and foreigners might not be aware of it.
Spacious room, comfortable bedding.

TaiwanIt’s so crowded during holidays that people are pushing to each other. And always needs to get in line for food and boutiques. The lost in room cannot be found after I left. The instructions are not clear enough so we always get lost at the beginning.
The room is big. Plenty of choices of Shuttle bus, which includes to the airport. The facilities are good, including shoppings and gambling.

SingaporeThe sofa bed that I paid extra for was in terrible condition. The mattress was so soft and thin that I can feel the metal frame on my back every time I moved. Moreover, there is no refill of shampoo and shower gel despite calling the front desk to top up.

SingaporeEverything else. It was very poor value for money. There was not even a coffeemaker in the room. My partner (who is a minority and checked in later than me, felt discriminated against when they refused to issue her a keycard.). The whole hotel feels more like a dormitory area for the shopping mall and casino. Taxis lineups to get away from the hotel were crazy and it just felt inundated with package tourists and huge family groups who were quite loud at night (we actually had someone mistakenly pounding on our door at night since the rooms are so numerous and confusingly numbered.). Overall, would never go back. It just felt like it existed as a machine to extract you from your money. Overall, from a service perspective, it was one of the poorest "luxury" hotel experiences I've had.
I have to say the room is huge and quite nice. The description of it as palatial, especially for a couple is accurate. The view was quite good.

Hong KongInternal call from cleaning staff to their front desk resulted in 4 unanswered calls. Wait time is around 20-30 minutes no matter what requests you have. I have explicitly told the customer service that I cannot receive SMS but they have no offered any alternative. I ordered room service, when I went to fetch my wallet, the server came into my room unexpectedly. My partner is taking shower at the moment and I have no intention of letting anyone in; I wanted to pay at the doors and take the services into the room myself. Finding staff for help is one of the hardest thing throughout the hotel and there are minor details always missed from their services such as the name of the restaurant that serves the breakfast, the room number associated to my key card, wifi instructions and checkout instructions.
When you get served, its good but the fact that there are way more customers than staffs. My requirements of the room is fulfilled.

Hong KongGetting to the room (South tower) with a bag was only possible through the shopping mall, not allowed to walk through the Casino. This new rule is not clear at check-in so we wasted time walking on the ground floor towards the south tower, only to have to walk back to the small stairs near the entrance. Totally bizarre way to find our room!
Not much....The Venetian is an Italian themed hotel, so why no Italian restaurant?

SingaporeIt was suite price without executive lounge benefits, so everything needs to be paid for. Too expensive. The room design could be better, especially the bathroom /bath tub. The shower head is hard to use, and there was no shower head at the bath tub. The housekeeping was also not thorough. For used cups, would have thought they would clear it, instead, it was just left as it was on table.
It's got everything from shopping to food, right at the doorsteps.
