No problem for me, but if you are taller than 1,90 m, the bed is too short.

Stan is a very friendly host. Beautiful view from.the terrace. Just about a 10 minute walk down to Fort de France, only. A good Brasilian restaurant even closer.

If there is a desire for a home away from home experience, BaySide is an excellent choice. Stan, the owner, is an amazing host and goes beyond the call of duty to ensure a comfortable stay. At BaySide, getting to town is a mere ten minute walk but if this seems alot, then you could take advantage of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Did I mention the view? No I didnt! Had I not, then this review would incomplete. The view of the Bay is immaculate! Will definitely repeat!

Being attacked, it's a bit dangerous to walk back to the apartment, so I recommend a taxi after dark.

Stan was kind enough to collect me from the ferry port and let me check in early, and take me back again. He is very sociable and went out of his way to help me to the hospital when some muggers on the bridge attacked me at night.

The biggest strength of this accommodation is its host! Very friendly, talkative, willing to help. Stan gave me a very warm welcome and provided all the useful information. And that view from the terrace is incredible!

Our stay was a homestay with the owner and his 15 year old daughter. They were both such a joy to meet and talk with. For a fee, he picked us up at the airport and also dropped us off at the cruise terminal. He provided the food for breakfast which we could prepare on our own time schedule. From the apartment, we walked to the historical center with no problem - even walking back uphill was not an issue. His property has an excellent view and the relaxing atmosphere was an awesome treat. We would definately recommend this place.

There was nothing I didn't like.

I came as a stranger and left as a friend. Stan is a super easy going host, making you feel at home even before you've arrived. He did all his best to make contact and arrange to pick me up. Helped me to get a phone top up and then again drove around when that didn't go well. The house has a beautiful patio with view on the sea where you can sit and relax for hours, having nice chats with Stan. You are free to cook what you need, while he is around, but giving you space when necessary. The bedroom is a nice cosy bedroom with a nice bathroom. I can continue tell a lot more, but better just book your stay there and experience it your self.

Nothing, really.

Stephann offers a nice, clean room with separate bathroom and fridge in his spacious, light-flooded flat and he has organised Check-in /Out well. We very much enjoyed the wonderful sea-view and light breeze on the terrace and more so the lively conversations we had over a lengthy breakfast. Coconut-water tasting included! Secured parking for the Rental comes as a Bonus. Fort de France centre ist within 20 mns Walking distance albeit a steep Walk!

Taking the stairs to go and return from town

“Windows wide open” We have all peered out windows to dream during the day And some do the same at night as they linger to stray But imagine an abode with no obstacle for the eyes A pure view indeed for any person who tries Yet how on earth can a house have windows without any glass ? That would be a like a golf course without any grass Why, however, does it seem so shocking Like women, one could say, without any stocking Isn’t it what we all aspire to though in the end To be able to view everyone as a friend Resisting the effects of time and the inevitable spectacle or two By throwing away the glass and our skeptical view How extraordinary this home with windows wide open Which enables us to see God and even hear his name spoken

The house owner made me felt at 'home' and at ease from the start. The view on the city and the bay are incredible and the location is within a couple minutes (by car) to beaches, hikes and Fort the France. The host is so kind, he makes sure you aren't short of anything and thinks along with you. This has has ensured that on my last day and last set of hours in Martenique I was able to enjoy nature, the beach and a barbeque in this paradise with a beautiful view. Thank you Stan for everything and even more!

Too far from town, shops, restaurants, and beach. Shower was a little small. On a steep hill and have to take a taxi from the ferry to get to it. This was a room in a house that the host lives and works in, so communal areas were not always available to be used.

Nice home with seaview, clean and tidy. Host was good.
