Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaWe booked a “Pool view suite” and when we arrived, we were taken to a room 601, which is ground level in a building that only has 4 rooms, of which I don’t think any were in use other than the one we were taken to. Unlike the room we booked, there was a double bed (not a king) no separate living room with a pull-out couch (two chairs and a TV over the kitchen table) and instead of the gorgeous outdoor kitchen and table we booked and were looking forward to we had a 1 metre x 1 metre ground level balcony that was too small for us both to sit on, and because it’s on the walk-way they had a strung up make-shift privacy curtain hung up… There was a strange ‘unfinished’ room with a bench seat in it and no windows, which according the to the floor plan will eventually be a child’s room. The bathroom was very nice as was the stone walk-in shower. The only natural light was from the kitchen/sitting area which didn’t have privacy curtains, so we found ourselves walking from the shower to the bedroom in a towel being looked at by people walking by several times. The kitchen and bedroom windows were not regular windows, they were instead frosted glass vent panels with no noise proofing so anybody walking by and talking felt like they were in bed with you. I went back to the front desk and asked the man who checked us in about the room and he looked it up and had a very uneasy look and said “oh somebody should have called you… we do not have your room for you and this one was assigned instead but it’s the same price.” He advised they were full and to talk to the manager on Monday (this was Saturday.) When the manager did come in on Monday we talked to her and she said that she could move us to the correct room on Tuesday with no apology or compensation or refund other that a free 16 euro breakfast for Tuesday.
This is a long review, but I promise it will be helpful in choosing this place or not, and what to expect if you do book it. While this is a newly renovated (and re-opened hotel) that is fresh, modern and new, it was by far the worse hotel experience we’ve ever had at any hotel from a expectations vs. reality perspective. I don’t think I have ever left a poor review of a hotel and usually assume the negative reviews I read of a place are simply picky or hard to please people, so I hate that I feel so motivated to write this poor review. I will start with saying that the hotel is really nice, small, lovely poor, right on the beach and literally next to the ferry to Fort-de-France. Parking is free and usually easy to find, and the hotel is next door to a grocery story, a great sushi place, a pizza vending machine (yep!) and 3 min walk to an amazing bakery.

SerbiaWe liked the hotel very much! Rooms are with kitchenette on the terrace which was very convenient. Bed was very comfortable, and rooms are big. Our room had sea view, and it was stunning- we really enjoyed it as it feels like you are on the beach! If you don't feel like going to the beach there is also a lovely pool If we come back, we would definitely stay again in Corbaril Hotel
