Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Old. Pool really small. Breakfast needs improvement. Bed is really bad. Not good value for what you get.

I could not get an adapter to charge my devices ( US- European conversion) at the front desk nor at the La Galleria mall. However, the staff charged my phone for with their own charger which I appreciate.
Breakfast was excellent! We enjoyed it, wide variety of fruits, plenty of options to choose from. Very welcoming staff and very helpful. The room was very clean.

Could have had some water in the mini-fridge upon arrival.
Was located close enough for us to get from the ferry to the location and back to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool area was nice for my daughter. The burgers and snacks were delicious although a bit pricy, we enjoyed it a lot.

Overall it was ok. We arrived to the hotel at 4pm and had to wait more than one hour for rooms to be ready. Discovered in the morning that there was blood on the fitted sheet of the bed. Super disappointing and pretty gross.

My A/C wall temp did not match the in room temperature. I only stayed one night so I tolerated it. There was no water upon checkin 3pm to approx 5:20pm, but this was due to a burst main and not the hotels fault. The pool is TINY.
Friendly staff, decent sized room, toiletries included, nice sized bathroom, long mirror, clean room, big bed, bright room. You can get a bus to town or you can walk. I did both. It’s not far.

You need a car or taxi to get back from town at night only found one nearby restaurant. Hotel food was ok

The meals, kitchen staff and the professionalism of the front desk staff.
The buffet lunch and breakfast provided excellent value. The small size of the room was not expected. The space between the beds and TV table was just too narrow. The kitchen could be smaller.

No elevator to floors, was a hassle getting luggage to the rooms on the upper floors. Porter's/persons to assist in getting the bags up the floors would be nice Customer service staff could be more friendly.
Breakfast was great. Rooms quite clean Location is good too.

Little water pressure in bathroom sink, noisy A/C unit & safe was inoperable and was not replaced for us. 3 night stay. The taxi company used by Karibea hotel lied to us and charged us $20 more than we were told! Beware of the taxi drivers on Martinique!!!

Outdated rooms, no elevator to the rooms, so with luggage it's a hassle, with NO HELP FROM STAFF.

Staff was friendly. Staff spoke creole, English, and French and was very helpful in finding taxis or providing other information. You can walk from the hotel to town, but few people are seen walking in the area. Taxis to town cost about 10-15 Euro. Staff also helped us arrange a tour with a tour operator. Breakfast was tasty and a wide selection of items was provided. Although my booking stated there would be two twin sized beds, the hotel provided a third. There was an electric kettle, small fridge, and iron on the room.

The shower was too small and I felt like the room could have been all inclusive. We had to pay for breakfast which was a bit pricey.
It was a nice place. The bathroom was really small, we could not have a proper shower due to this. The room was not 100% clean but it was ok. The price was a bit much for the location and the amenities.
