I love the boutique feel. The place has a lot of character, and the rooms have good quality furniture, comfortable beds and updated modern bathrooms. The staff was helpful, kind and courteous. Our French is not perfect, so I was grateful for their patience with our efforts. In some cases they tried to use English for our benefit. The location could not have been better. We enjoyed the festive feeling of staying close to the boardwalk and adjacent to Parc de la Savanne.

The internet is good but the hotel blocks you from making video calls like Whatsapp. If I am on vacation I will like to video call my children...it has been that way for years and they refuse to change it

I wasn't impressed with the hotel. For an expensive hotel, this place is a no for me. I will not stay at this hotel again. There was no refrigerator in the room, no iron in room,tv only played one channel, and the room was very small. The staff were not very friendly and most of them either could not understand English or pretended that they couldn't. The young lady at the front desk was, however, very helpful, apart from her, the others were very unfriendly. The breakfast as well wasn't good. I'm not impressed, will not come back.

The only thing i liked about this hotel is that it was in fort de france.

AC didn't work, verandah door didn't close properly. It was noisy - a bar playing loud music until late then a guy firing up a leaf blower at 4am.

Check-in staff member was delightful. Location close to the ferry terminal was ideal.

Very cramped bedroom; bathroom desperately needs updating. Some of the bar staff were very surly.

Handy for the inter-island ferries and also well-located for the city centre shops and restaurants. Nice, big balcony with views over park and towards harbour

Probably the best thing about the hotel is live music with African motives in the restaurant in the night, it helped to set up the convivial mood for the whole journey :) My room had a terrace, the view of the promenade was gorgeous in the morning.

Very noisy at night during the week-end. Some events on the hotel top floor, and activities at the park. However, the worst part was a horrible noise in the middle of the night when the municipality cleans the streets or sidewalks which keeps you awake for 20-30 minutes almost every night. The rooms should have a mini fridge also.

The room was nice. A wonderful balcony. The staff very friendly. The location was also excellent for walking around for dinner in the evenings.

The hotel is very central, and the area is very, very noisy. There is constant traffic in the street outside, much of playing music at ear-splitting volumes. If you're a light sleeper, forget it. Whatever chance you might have is scuttled by the bells of the nearby Cathedral starting a major session ... at 6am. The noise is not the hotel's fault to be fair, but it is what it is, and a major factor.

We arrived for breakfast at 09:03, 3 minutes late, and were refused. In fairness, when we asked the lady at Reception where we might get a good breakfast, she immediately organised cappuccino and bread for us; but still... We were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel all day free of charge. The hotel is very central, but ...

The place was very outdated. The outlets were soo old school we were unable to charge our phones. Wen we asked the staff for an adapter, they said that there was none available. Thankfully another guest had one that could fit and he borrowed it to us to get a lil juice

Noise, bring ear plugs. There js a guy blowing leaves in the park across the street every night from 4AM. Also there is a cafe at ground floor open late.

Great location. Across the park 10 min walking you get to quai des tourelles (MSC), or 5 min to the beach& point simon for other cruises and also for vedettes tropicales to anse mitan. Many options for luch/dinner around. Carrefour at less than 5 min. Superior room is very beautiful, with a large accomodating terrace (3rd floor).
