It wasn’t clean - some towels had stains on them, dust not cleaned, rubbish under the bed. Poor noise cancellation, could hear the guests and staff in the hallway.

There was a sauna and a pool (inside & out). Didn’t have a chance to use those but it was nice to have the opportunity. Best part - free breakfast.

I don’t know the name she was blond lady but was quite helpful.Room is clean but only basic things are there even you will not find body lotion in bathroom but tea kettle was in room.so i think value for money

Room doors are not protecting you from the noise outside your room, so you can hear everything.

Really good location, by the sea, bus stops and shops and restaurants near the hotel. Good staff and tasty breakfast. Air conditioner can blow cool and hot air.

The personal, they treat me like a thief because i have screen computer to work and start to Scream thinking im stealing the TV or something like this,really bad situación. The other recepciónist i think hate her live and hate customer as well. And a very kindly worker but acuse me that i was smoking hash on the room and for sure was not true, maybe the neighbours. The receptionist very bad just blondie woman was polite

I didn't even spend the first night here! The reception smelled of stale cigarette smoke when I arrived, the room was basic. The shower was ok, the 'free toiletries' were cheap bulk bottles of cheap (and not very nice!) soap and handwash, one bottle of which was broke. The sea view was there, if you stood on the edge of your balcony 😂 Though I wouldn't recommend sitting outside the room I had as there were loud generators/air con units on top on the opposite buildings. There was hair in the bath/room. The other areas of the hotel that I didn't mention above were in need of updating. I contacted them to enquire about the use of the (advertised) spa facilities, only to be told they'd been closed since covid, though I believe the pool was still available. I was offered a different room, but it would have been much the same as what I had, and I would have had to wait until the following day as it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest (it was late afternoon, maybe housekeeping didn't think it would be needed?). In all I spent about half an hour there, and then went and found somewhere else to stay. No refund or compensation offered either, so an expensive lesson learnt for future reference

Very dirty hotel. The bathroom was disgusting and we found a plaster on the blanket (we also have photos) which is not so hygienic especially during COVID era. Breakfast was poor, acid milk and croissants. Check in was shocking, the lady just gave to us the room key without explaining to us where to go, to which floor, opening hours for breakfast.. We didn't report anything about this just because we only stayed one night and we didn't want to complaint. The only good thing is that the hotel is located in a central area. I hope this review can motivate you to improve and be more careful about guest service and cleaning.

Place looks ok at reception but room was shoddy and generally run down Left item in Room when I checked out... Called 5 times in the following days... No one knew anything or is there a system to relay messages...Every other person just wanted to argue and talk over me while Trying to explain Definitely not worth a second stay ever!

We are surprised by all those negative comments. I spent in the Alexandra hotel 4 days ( 3 nights ) with my fiancée. We picked up the superior room with breakfast for 128 euros. We are very happy with our choice, but I want to analyze some aspects of the offer. a) Location. It is perfect. You are very close to the sea ( 3 minutes literally) bus stop that takes you directly to the airport ( 3 different lines ) and you need to go only 5/8 minutes maximum. For those to complain about the noise: It is normal for a district that is full of bars and a very touristy one. If you have a problem with sleep you can always check the area before booking and find someplace that will be quieter. It is not the fault of the hotel manager but people who can't do proper research before booking the place. b) Breakfast. It is fine. Maybe should be more warm options for vegetarians but the hotel write in the offer that they are made in ENGLISH STYLE. By this, you know what you are paying for. Also as I spoke with the staff the cost of the breakfast is 9 euros. For 9 euros the meal is 10/10. You need to include the cost of the products in what you get. There was ham, cheese, toast, tea hot unlimited, lemonade, iced tea, juices, sausages, bacon, boiled eggs scrambled eggs, fruits ( apple, oranges, kiwi) and some tomatoes, salad, and a couple of other things that I don't remember. The hotel is also working with a Sicilian restaurant 2 minutes form the lobby that offers you a 10% discount if you ask the receptionist or hotel manager. It is a very nice touch and the food there is perfect. c) The swimming pool. It is ok. What I would change is that from the floor of the swimming pool couple of tiles fell off and you can hurt your feet if you are not careful. It will be good to replace those tiles which fell off. Also I think one person from the staff should be controlling the area because sometimes some of the guests whare smoking cigarettes.

Worest experience with this hotel. No hot water for shower,no cleaning room, abnormal sound from exhaust fan. Really not recommend any one just waste money

the location is not the best to go to the capital and top atractions you need a lot of time in order to get there by bus. the bathroom could do a retouch and the shower had a very low preasure .

I couldn’t find anything bad with this hotel. I definitely recommend it for teenagers as it is just in the centre and the area has a lot of bars/clubs. I do understand some negative comments since summer is not the same as winter time. It’s a logical thing to not have immediate fast hot water when the hotel is full of guests and everyone takes a shower at the same time! It’s logical that being in the centre is a plus for many reasons but also can get noisy. I think I wouldn’t visit Malta during summer since (sadly I work) & I am from Greece that we have very nice sandy beaches but as a receptionist myself I kindly advice you to not let the small things get on your way of enjoying your holidays and stay calm if something doesn’t go as planned. Please remember that everyone does the best he/or she can to help you out! And they are humans too :)

We loved everything here and will definitely come back same month next year! For the price everything was more than expected and we were really surprised! Rooms are nice, always clean (!!), they changed our towels and made our bed every day they even replaced our coffee and tea bags when we finished them which was very kind. For this price the facilities were incredibly good and unexpected. The hotel was very nice decorated and the breakfast space as well as every other “public” space had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was beyond enough, had a great variety even more than the basics and everything I tried was very tasty! Also the staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. From the guys who checked us in to everyone working at the breakfast area and last but not least the receptionist who made our check out! We thank you for everything and we really appreciate your work! 🫶🏻
