Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SloveniaThere was too much noise coming in through the windows (even closed), the sausages at breakfast had a smell like they are expired and the rooms at check in could be cleaned a bit better. Otherwise the stay was quite ok.

SloveniaPool doesn't look like on the pictures. Pool is open only till 21 pm. Pool bar has some cocktails, but the bartender doesn't know how to make it. There is no good access to the beach.
Staff is very friendly and nice. The location is perfect if you like partying a lot, but parties nearby are for teenagers.

DenmarkThis hotel is drunk teenage mania taken to the highest level, resulting in: frequent fire alarms, but no information, that it was false alarm, unless I went to the reception myself to check. Drunk teenagers running around in the hallways at night, creating a lot of noise. Drunk teenagers partying on the balconies. This is NOT a hotel for adults, who want to sleep between 22 and 06. The shower almost didnt give any water, even compared to neighboring hotels 6th floor rooms. The furniture was old and worn. The towels often so worn, that they could be mistaken for blonde scarfs.
Heaps of employees, but most of them standing around chatting, even when guests were waiting for minutes to be served. completely clueless when preparing food ... so most days there were no fried eggs ready and long waiting, other days several trays of, then cold, fried eggs.

PolandThe quality of the hotel was completely different from what we saw on the photos. Rooms were dirty, sofa useless and covered in stains everywhere, dirty walls, broken phone. Cleaning service disapointing, leaving even dirty floors, few times we got towels with stains. Swimming pool area was very dirty, everywhere you could find used cups, broken glass bottles by sunbeds, people were allowed to smoke in the pool - overcrowded. Breakfast was also disappointing, the same stuff every day. Food quality was very poor and need huge improvement. i would definitely not recommend for families with small kids due to high noise at night.

GermanyEverything in this hotel is low quality and low budget, except the price which not adequate for the lack of quality offered (100 Eur./night for a double room in July 2022). The majority of the guests are "party-people" who drink and are loud all day long, all night long. The doors are slammed and it is impossible to have a good night sleep. Bad value for the money. Breakfast: The waiters were not proactive. The food offered is processed and low budget. Swimmingpool: The pictures on the website look nice. In reality the swimming pool and the sun-bathing are are really small and unpleasant. Rooms: the room was tiny (no place to store two normal suitcases) and extreme loud. The doors are cannot be closed without disturbing the neighbors because the doorlocks have really bad quality. Toilet: It had a minimal window which when opened would let in all the dust from the the air-conditioning system. It was small and smelly, probably due to bad pipes. The shower had mould. The hairdryer didn't work.
There was one receptionist who was very friendly and helped us to get a taxi in an emergency situation. However, this was an exception. In general the receptionists were not particularly friendly and seemed not be trained to do their job with quality expected in a 3 stars hotel. For instance, basic things like answering the greeting of a guest who entered the lobby were not the natural procedure. The cleaners tried their best to do a good work but it was clear that they work under extremely bad conditions. We saw a cleaner having to use the torch on his mobile phone to be able to clean the shower in a bathroom with no illumination.

PolandI had a problem with getting the invoice for my stay written in the right way and I did not get it until now. A man named Chris Spiteri after my e-mail to the hotel to correct the invoice wrote "Check out date is the Inv date". It was his answer to my request. I think, treating customers in this way is just shocking and shouldn't take place. Besides, during my stay there was often a problem with the alarm- you had to slam the room door to close it, and that was the case with other rooms as well (not only mine), all the time, even at night you could hear either slamming doors or the alarm. The air-condition equipment in the room was very old and noisy. I couldn't sleep because of it. The twin room was very tiny, not at all the same as the one presented in the photos. The balcony was small and dirty. There was a very unkind lady (blonde) at the reception desk.
Breakfast was pretty good, the staff in the restaurant and most receptionists were really nice and helpful. Outdoor and indoor swimming-pool were ok.

United KingdomThe safe didn't work, even after maintenance were due to have taken a look. The shower gel container was empty and not refilled. Since this is a budget hotel, many of the guests were much younger and more raucous, especially at the end of the day. It's only to be expected, but not necessarily enjoyable.
My original assigned room fell well short of expectations, but reception was able to assign me to one that more closely met what I'd booked. The breakfast offered a range of options that were vegetarian friendly. Decent value for money.

SerbiaEverything was great. Good location, well organised bus transportation in Malta. 15 min to Sliema and 10 min more to Valleta. Nearby is supermarket, burger bar. It is location with night life but in room it wasn’t noisy. Breakfast was very good, they refill so there is always plenty of everything. Pool outdoor on the rooftop is quite good, with bar. There is indoor pool and little gym, but we didn’t use it. Everything si free to use. Also there si room to put your luggage until your departure time. I recommend using hop on hop off bus to explore Malta.

France- the rooms are noisy, you hear every sound coming from the corridor or your neighbors room (a door separates your room from the other one) - dirty : found a genital hair on the toilets the day I arrived. The shower gel was almost empty, you'd be reusing the one other persons used. The toilets were never cleaned during our stay. And icing on the cake, I spotted a cleaning lady smoking while cleaning a room. Smoking inside the room. Yay - breakfast isn't good, tasteless omelette, juices are water with sugar, toasts instead of real bread and so on...
The location is good, and that's the only positive point.
