A lot of people. Pool and spa was super busy and crowded. Jacuzzi water was cold and from somewhere was breezing wind, therefore was really cold and uncomfortable! In the breakfast hardly to find the seats as was overcrowded.

(We were in #222). Room safe isn’t bolted down. Balcony door couldn’t be locked (bent screws); mentioned this to front desk who said they’d send someone from maintenance (never did). Lighting in the HUGE bathroom was abysmal, had to use mirror in bedroom area. No shelving or hooks in bathroom so toiletry bags sat on the floor. Bed linens were fine, unfortunately mattress needed to be replaced a decade ago (about as comfy as a yoga mat, not kidding). Our room had a pool view so we went to the lobby to have a drink and to enjoy the sea view. Unfortunately the advertised “live” lobby music was a dreadlocked DJ playing excessively loud R&B; people had to talk loudly to each other, and with kids tearing around and a crying baby, the whole lobby experience was an unbearable din (no wonder workers at front desk looked cranky). Elevators ridiculously slow so we used the stairs instead, as did others.

Location was great. Breakfast buffet was enormous! Front desk agent at checkout was pleasant.

Booked this hotel for my friend, everything was fine except the mattresses Room 133, next morning spoke to the manager Martin Sapiano and he fixed the problem.. he was very kind!!

The hotel's idea of an upgrade may not be to everyone's taste as from a pool view we got upgraded to a partial seaview with a view of cranes and building construction from a hotel across the road. The bathroom design was clearly done by a toddler as the wc was crammed into the shower, move too much and you can smash the shower door 😅

Hotel is quiet and clean. Quite busy for this time of year but we used all facilities. Food in the Mirasol buffet breakfast & dinner was ample and varied and wsit staff very attentive. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna were fine and not busy when we used them. For the price its good value.

Everything, appalling organisation, staff in restaurant were rude, food bad 4 star rating is a joke Complete wast of money, I can't express how bad this hotel has become, this is our third time staying at this hotel and the last I want a refund

The hotel was over crowded, we had to que for breakfast and dinner and were left for twenty five minutes trying to find a table after we had qued to get in. Rude staff who shouted at you and food that when we could finally get to it was sub standard Cleaners knocking on your room despite do not disturb sign and loud noise from cleaning at 7.e0 am, heating in the hotel was so high it was permanently uncomfortable, mattresses in the corridors Unable to use the pool and spa as cull to the point of being unsafe, bars and lounges close Shocking waste of money

We chose it because of the indoor pool and spa facilities. It was very busy with families and children jumping off the side constantly in spite of written warnings. No one was policing it. There were hardly any sunbeds as most had apparently been removed for the weekend. We saw them being brought in again late sunday afternoon! The jacuzzi was “not working” either. The sauna was nice.

We spent two nights there. First impressions….we were only given our room key at 3pm….which was the time of check in and not before. The room was a long way from the lift unfortunately… as i currently have limited mobility…..then the key didnt work. When we eventually got in, the bed was not a double as requested. It was 4.30pm before we could eventually have a rest. Food was really good. Staff was helpful especially cleaning staff

Breakfast selection was everyday the same even on christmas day. Dogs were all allocated next to each which may have lead to serious consequences. Pool need some maintenance. Some tiles were becoming detached while walking over them. No bathrooms found directly in the indoor pool area. One have to go near the reception lifts to use the bathroom. Pets rate should be lower (Additional €25/night is a bit expensive).

I have to agree with other reviews and say this is not a 4 star hotel. It is 3 star. We had booked a superior half board room, but it definitely wasn’t what you’d expect in a 4 star hotel. There was no shower gel or robes or anything extra. The food was okay, what you would expect in a 3 star. The coffee is horrible. Breakfast was absolutely packed. Both mornings, we had to clear our own table and find cutlery ourselves. Dinner was a little less busy. You have to sit and wait to order drinks and both nights we had to wait about 15 mins and then had to call someone over. I suspect they do not have enough staff. However, staff were polite.The room was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for! Also, there was building work right outside our balcony on the jetty- lots of banging and drilling.

We had a room with a sea view and balcony. The view was stunning. The room was very large.

There was PLENTY of food but unfortunately often poorly cooked and therefore inedible (braised RAW potatoes, raw cauliflower gratin, overcooked fish and dry meat, horrible ice cream etc etc). The tables in both the restaurant and the bar areas were often stained. Noise levels were unbearable - especially when the hotel rented out the dining room and the bar to private parties.

The size of the room ... reception and bar staff were mostly friendly. Restaurant staff weren't unfriendly but not very communicative.
