Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Israel1.Reception Staff manager (lady) showed behavior on the edge of rudeness and did not really wanted to help. 2. Not enough elevators. People need to wait long minutes each time for elevator arrival.
The cleanness.

PolandI was surprised there weren't any grocery-or any at all- shops around within the walking distance. The hotel itself is rather large and complicated to navigate and poorly marked inside. The two guests elevators are overworked. The staff elevators are ... well for the staff. We ended up using the emergency stairwells. Imagine an elderly or handicapped person...
I liked the location. Room was ok. Staff was ok. Food was ok.

MaltaI tried baked potatoes on two consequtive evenings - completely uneatable. Screaming children from 6.30am. The room was excessively warm and I had to open the door to let some cool air in. Freezing outdoor pool and too much chlorine in the heated indoor pool. Water unchanged all summer. Preferred to swim in the sea which was very clean and warmer than the outdoor pool.
Breakfast was very good -best meal of the day.

MaltaHotel is crying for a maintenance overhaul. Like broken tiles left unreplaced, dangerous raised flooring near outdoor pool which sinks down upon stepping on it, too saline and unclear water quality in pools, stench odours in the bathroom every morning, water supply in WC flushing overwhelmed by morning hotel-wide demand, etc

MaltaBathroom towels were not clean, we were given a different room than we booked so we had to wait extra hours until we could check in the correct room as they had issues with allocating rooms. In the indoor pool area, there are only few deckchairs compared to the guests in the hotel
Location is perfect for people who like hiking and going to Gozo, Comino and Paradise Bay. The beds are comfortable and bathroom is huge. Indoor pool is big with showers and warm water

EstoniaElevator is a disaster, you will wait for it forever. Carpets in the corridors are dirty. Tiles in outdoor pool are not glued, very unsafe. There is no beach, the nearest is Paradise Bay - you can walk, but there is quite high hill, so you have to go up and then down, then repeat it. Taxi as an option. Sunbeds and umbrella cost some crazy money, 12.50 each or something similar.
Good hotel with good location, except there are no any shops and pharmacy (in case you need it). We used Bolt Food and Wolt to order some food (not only from restaurants, but also from the shop). Staff and animators are nice. We didn't have any food/drinks included, so not sure about main restaurant. But we tried all other bars and restaurants belong to the hotel - these are okay.

RussiaThe indoor pool tiles were destroyed partly. Some of them are so sharp that could easily cut us. The pieces of tiles were on the bottom of the pool. That's really not safe.
The food was good, a big variety and a lot to choose. The room was clean.

United KingdomThe hotel is tired, all the communal areas need renovating. There is a damp smell behind the reception area which is not a great first impression when trying to find the lifts after check in. The pool bar was also not very appealing, we decided against ordering a snack.
The reception staff were very nice. The room was a good size and very clean and the breakfast was actually very nice, for a busy hotel.

United KingdomBooked a day earlier to avoid the check in time. Arrived and was told no room was ready. As I was travelling with an elderly person with a heart condition, had to wait 3 hours to check in with very little help from the staff. Was promised some type of compensation(a minimium day compensation), when chased up a few days later was advised this was a lie and was not the case. Have tried numerous times to explain the situation to staff via email and it seems the staff are pretending this has never happened. Can gladly say I wont be coming back there or the hotel chain.
Cool set up, alot of daytime activities for a fun, family feel.

NorwayWe specifically chose this hotel with a swimming pool for the kids to have more fun, but the hotel had their policy- limited hours at the swimming pool which is from noon to 5pm. That is exactly the time when people are usually out exploring the city. This was kind of disappointing. The breakfast seemed to have quiet a variety but if you are non pork eating person, the choice of meat toppings is limited to only type of turkey. Breakfast was the same of the time.
The hotel is near ferry that goes to Blue Lagoon. Busstop is near by, beautiful view from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Huge hotel with many different areas to relax.

United Kingdomcarpets were disgusting in halls and all other floors very slippery, the pool decking was uneven and dangerous! The bed was very uncomfortable and had a plastic cover on the mattress which made it even more uncomfortable. The air con doesn’t go below 23 so was often too warm at night. The cocktails tasted like juice so question the alcohol content and the restaurants weren’t open when we wanted to eat. The location is that there is nothing else around unless you catch a bus. We walked past dirty dishes in corridors for over an hour but the few staff members we saw were very friendly. We stayed in a same price spa hotel in Gzira and it was far superior.

MaltaUpon check-in we didn't feel "welcomed" and we were asked to wait until the room was ready (which I totally understand) The receptioninst (not the one who initially checked us in) handled us the keys, she was professional and gave us detailed information about the hotel. The room which was allocated to us had the toilet and the shower cubicle with rust, stains on the floor clearly visible and also the room ceiling looked like there was a water leak before (as the paint was kind of coming off) The hotel is stated as pet friendly, however we were very, as we were only able to go to the breakfast restaurant.
Overall as a Hotel it was good and also the location was excellent. Nice views overlooking comino and in a very quite area.

MaltaAlthough it was a dog friendly hotel, our well behaved dog could not go anywhere apart from staying in the room. They can improve by allowing well trained dog to at least stay next to the owners in certain places like the pool area.

United StatesThe hotel was very understaffed - it was impossible to find someone to exchange our towels during the hours the towel exchanges were supposed to be open. The elevator system is AWFUL - rather than waiting 5-10 minutes we had to take the stairs. It was also very disappointing that we had two twin sized beds when we requested a bed together. Not a great option for a couple on a vacation together.

United Kingdomalmost everything- the room was smelly so was the bathroom. as soon as you get on the 4th floor there is a bad smell throughout the floor. The air conditioning noise was horrible. There would be some noise from bathroom when you turn the light on. The cleaning of the room was not done on one day, I had to complain a couple of times (done at 6pm). and beds were hardly made as sand in the sheet. Food at dinner was not sophisticated- for a 4 star canteen I was shocked- even the breakfast was not great. Overall a bad experience and I will certainly not recommend it - avoid 4th floor and room 449
