Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Marsalforn Luxurious Apartments was absolutely perfect for our family while travelling from Australia. Very clean, very spacious, excellent facilities (especially the washing machine & drier!) and in a great location, walking distance to the beach & restaurants.

The apartment is very well equipped. It is a cosy place, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. TV channels were also vast. Host is very welcoming too. Location is very good but in quiet neighbourhood.

Nothing everything was great!
The property was welcoming from the start. The hosts left us some things in the kitchen, cleaning detergents and also some throw overs. It is truly luxurious and very comfortable to stay in.

1. Interior. This is one of the most professional interiors I have seen. 2. Comfortability. Dishwasher, dryer, 5G internet. 3. Place. Near the promenade, bars, near the food store Galeta. (36.071127, 14.256212) 4. The city beach is dirty and small, but you just have to walk further and there is a great beach with sunbeds for 5 euros per day (36.073401, 14.261826)

The location was convenient especially with a hire car. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were exceptional and the rooms were spacious. Great for three people or more. Lift access was great for luggage and good air conditioning

Everything was perfect
Very big, cosy apartment. Well equipped. Contact with the host is very good, Caroline even provided toys for our baby. You can really feel like home. My baby daughter did. I can recommend this place for families.

The design of the apartament was top notch. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the appliances and including cooking spices, etc. Also, the host was very responsive and friendly. Will definitely book again the next time we visit gozo.

Nothing to complain about!
The apartment is very well kept and we had everything that one would require when staying at home! Minor things, such as availability of salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc. made life so much easier. We travelled with a toddler and the hosts provided us with a choice of cots and even toys! The apartment has everything that one might require.

The apartment is situated just off the main road to Qbajjar a few minutes away from the promenade. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, served with a lift. It is super luxurious, fully air-conditioned, with 2 double bedrooms (one with en suite), a main bathroom, an open plan living room and kitchen, a spacious front veranda and a back veranda where a laundry section is provided with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The owner is super helpful and was in contact with us throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place during both summer and winter.

I have nothing negative to say, everything was just perfect!
The house is new and very beautiful, clean and organised. With a very cozy and welcoming sitting area; The 2 bedrooms are with very comfortable beds and clean toilets. For those who loves to prepare their own meals, you will definitely love the beautiful and fully functional kitchen! The location of the apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to few supermarkets, and a short/good walk to the restaurants and the sea front.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The apartment appeared to be brand new and was well-equipped with the basic necessities such as air conditioning, cleaning supplies, appliances, a first-aid box, a fire extinguisher, and so on. The apartment's location was ideal because it was close to the beach and parking was easy to come by. We thoroughly liked our stay and hope to reserve this flat again in the future.
