Overall the bar staff were not friendly -and other staff too (except cleaner for our room who was pleasant). Front door not rotating and the lifts were poor enough. Called us 5 mins before check out time to make sure we were leaving. The key card holder in our room was broken.

The location is brilliant. The hotel looks over the seafront and promenades. The location is great for swimming in the sea as it's safe to jump in from the hotel and swim. The room and bathroom was spacious. The air conditioning worked okay in our room (others in our group's air conditioning did not work). Breakfast overall was decent - enough options. Location was good for the evening as only a stroll from bars and restaurants and also handy for airport. The cleaning staff member for our room was friendly and helpful.

The lifts were extremely slow and took ages to get from one floor to another, we were on the 5th floor and it was a whole trip to get up and down. Also our room's thingy on the door kept breaking and leaving us locked out of the room.

The room was great and the bed was massive! Breakfast buffet was great too, loads of variety to choose from. The little harbour next to the swimming pool area was defo a good one! Water was crystal clear!

The bathroom is tiny in proportion to the room, unable to open the door fully or sit on the loo without bashing your knees on the sink vanity. No soap dish, towels were not very clean, and housekeeping was mediocre. The bathroom had a very unpleasant smell, which was reported, but nothing was done. I asked for some larger towels and were given warm pool towels, but on closer inspection, they were soiled. All this raised with reception, but it fell on deaf ears.

We stayed here before many years ago and came back because of its fantastic location and stunning views which didn't disappoint.

I think that it was very clean, but for a four star hotel it could be more luxurious, it’s a bit old it needs some refreshments.

The hotel is located in a very good place, the buss station is e few minutes walk. Everything is nearby, but the hotel is located in a quiet place. The staff was amazing everyone is very polite and helpful, the rooms are cleaned daily, the pool is clean, the breakfast is the same every day, but you can find what to eat.

Lifts - the lifts were really slow and you could be waiting 5-10 mins to get one, often had to walk , especially after breakfast . Breakfast finished at 10:30 , found this a bit early. Checkin was meant to be at 15:00 , we arrived at the hotel at approx 13:00 but our room wasn’t ready until nearly 15:30

Lovely location , close to all the nice restaurants in St Julian’s. Away from the party side so not noisy , a lovely quiet private road. Nice size swimming pool and plenty of loungers.

The pool staff could be more considerate and polite to the guests during preparation when clsoing sunbeds and not go banging the sunbeds only to casuing irritating nosies around the pool area.

The reception staff are very helpful to insure our stay was a special one We will be back

The only small things i would like to mention that can be improved is the main entrance door of the hotel that its not working to turn and you have to push it every time with your hands which is unhealthy and its very heavy. Also the elevators are very slow and it takes time to come and the door to open/close. The room fridge is not cooling a lot.. Lastly there are some spots around the building and the rooms with mold and humidity which i would suggest to take care of them before every season..

The hotel has the best location and you always have seaview! They have pool and beach access too! The cleaners can clean your room eventually if you leave the room late and they are doing excellent job! The staff is very friendly and helpful! It is very close to everything! Big breakfast with many choices!

Lifts took a long time to come.

Room was large, airy and bright. Sunloungers and chairs on the family sized balcony. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Pool area was beautiful and you could swim in the sea.

Some structure of the property needs improvement, for example at the main entrance the revolving door was broken so I had to push to get inside the hotel. The doors were noisy and lights in the apartment very dark.

The breakfast is really nice, several options of food. Also the swimming pool has a good size to chill out during the days.

Really clean and comfortable hotel. The breakfast was really nice, lots of variety. The air conditioning throughout the hotel was perfect. Swimming pool was clean and lots of sun beds. Towels provided on a daily basis. Pool bar staff were really friendly and the lunch snacks were good portions and really tasty. The location was great, nice and close to restaurants and bars and bus stops for trips out.

Some breakfast items were very industrial/not fresh The pool water (sea water) became super warm after midday, almost uncomfortable to swim in. The indoor pool is not ventilated and felt like a greenhouse (100%humidity) No entertainment/live music/something to entertain kids in the evening Cockroaches found in the pool area ... although this is a common issue in the very hot season, not the hotel's fault. We saw staff cleaning the hotel often Very limited menu - same for lunch and dinner in both downstairs and upstairs restaurants Lack of basic amenities in the bathroom - eg a little tray to put the handsoap on. We had to keep it in the sink. Receptionist gave the wrong opening and closing time for the pool the first time around (then we checked the hotel rules printed in the room to find out the correct ones)

The fact that it is by the sea

On the weekends, external guests can book sun loungers and their reservations are prioritized over hotel guests so there was a shortage of space on those days. Those guests were also loud and obnoxious but that is not the hotels fault. The elevator was ridiculously slow. I read reviews mentioning this before but thought to myself that it couldn’t be that bad. It was! There were too few hangers in the hotel room, and no hooks for hanging towels to dry in the bathroom. This meant that towels had to be changed daily which is not good for the environment. There are a lot of options to choose from in the breakfast buffet but the standard could be improved. For example, the bacon was partially raw and the juices were from concentrate. They had fresh orange juice on the menu for an additional charge but didn’t have any oranges to actually make it.

The location and staff were excellent. The bay was lovely with a great selection of restaurants, and the hotel has easy access to the sea. The size of and view from the hotel room were great. The pool area was well-maintained, and there were plenty of sun loungers on most days.
